Celtics should sit Irving and Heyward so last year chemistry comes back. The 🌟 players are not helping this young roster. Is like the Lakers. Young players play better without Lebron on the court. Sometimes stars mix with young players doesnt worked out.

Scottie love him some MJ, while not in this discussion, just to hear his voice makes me thing all he talks about it how great MJ was, never mentions other teammates, Rodman, Harper, Tony? Just MJ, he even diminishing himself or is it he hates that when is man MJ left team his body guard was gone and Phil call plays for Toni K not him and don't let me bring up Rodman and how he and Malone didn't want no parts of him.

Celtic need to trade Rozier and J Brown, and try to bring in an Ariza type vet and like Pat Beverly tbh, those dudes will come in and compete nightly. J. Brown and Terry act like they should be handed starting jobs.

(Reposted) Kyrie us just finally seeing how hard this shit is.
He wanted his own team, and he got it. I support him wanting to break from LeBron, but this is exactly why he could have stayed one more year in Cleveland.
People forget that Kyrie can lead, but the Celtics were on fire when Kyrie was injured. He's just in the way at this point

Lot's of problems on this team. Stevens is too nice, doesn't command true respect. Kyrie isn't comfortable playing a role, he's an iso scorer, doesn't fit with Steven's system. Hayward has big confidence issues. Rozier wants the money but isn't getting the minutes. Brown is lazy straight up, too inconsistent and has weak driving and handles. Also they are all living under the threat of Ainge and his wild moves so players waiting to see what happens. They need to come up with a cut that works and make the trades quickly.

But they also shouldn’t trade him, because his value’s super low rn so the second he figures it out, get his flattop ass out of Boston

I've been saying since October: Give them until mid February. Whatever happens before that, happens. After that is when we'll finally be able to truly start judging and grading this team.

Trade Tatum, Kyrie, and some assets for AD. Get a pass-first PG who can shoot. Relegate Jaylen as their primary wing defender together with Smart. Get role players who doesn't have ego. Gordon Hayward will be back to around 70-80% next year. Build through AD and that's it.

I didn't watch the game...but looks like Morris was at fault on that play as well. I've always been told in transition defense 1st thing you do is locate the ball and then stop the ball. Morris seemed to be more concerned about just guarding his man than stopping the ball...probably why the ball carrier came on morris' side of the paint to lay it up. Morris throws up his arm and then proceeds to look for Jaylen and no one else as if he was the only problem.

The celtics cannot manage all their talent because unlike Curry, Kyrie has a massive ego, so it sets an example for everyone else to have selfish agendas too instead of playing for the team. If the Celtics don't get their shit together, they're just gonna end up another Wizards.
Remember when the wizards were saying cavs intentionally lost their last couple games of the regular season to avoid playing them in the semi finals a couple years ago. What have the wizards done since then or ever really? Always a team we thought was next up but where are they now? The Wizards had talent but so much ego with NO accolades. Haven't accomplished shit but think you're the best in the league so that's why you don't win shit.
Brown saying he'd have 5 rings by 28 proves his arrogance and lack of understanding for what it really takes to win. Celtics will not make it out the east. Bc not only do the Bucks and Raptors have a true superstar unlike Kyrie who is a star but not transcendent. But both Kawhi and Giannis feed into the humble culture of working and playing for the team. While Kyrie plays for himself and the glory, so likewise his young teammates will follow suit. The Celtics dynasty will end before it begins if they don't make some trades soon

    • zoomboomashz
      zoomboomashz 6 months ago

Definitely not a Reptilian last year, the young core was unestablished and didn't have the ego they have now so that's irrelevant. And I'm not saying Kyrie is the problem. I never said that. I said the Celtics as a whole cannot manage the team's talent and ego because their best player sets an example for having an ego too. The problem is the team altogether playing selfish. Kyrie is the leader so he's responsible for any chemistry problems period. I am pointing out why Kyrie, unlike some other stars, may be having more trouble creating an unselfish, egoless culture in Boston because he at nature has a big ego and plays for himself.

    • zoomboomashz
      zoomboomashz 6 months ago

Adam Feliciano and I ain't said shit about the heat loss cause idc about that loss. It's irrelevant. The Celtics are a better team and have been doing well enough to make it to the playoffs. But the expectations for this team are not a good regular season record or making the playoffs. They're Not an ecf appearance. Not a finals appearance. Or not even a championship. The expectations are for this team to be a future dynasty. And there's a lot of mental stuff that goes into doing that. And right now it's looking like they won't even make it to the finals if they don't fix things

    • zoomboomashz
      zoomboomashz 6 months ago

Adam Feliciano no, having a different view doesn't mean you're sucking him off. I'm saying you're sucking him off because you're completely ignoring the main point of my entire comment specifically so you can hype Kyrie up to me which is pointless bc I'm not a hater. You don't need to do all that.
Commenting for the sole purpose of glorifying him instead of analyzing him IS sucking him off. That's why I said that. You keep talking about Kyrie's physical impact but I'm talking about his mental impact and how it plays into the Celtics chemistry problems.
Kyrie should not be playing like Kobe. Do you know why? It isn't because he's not a high caliber "clutch" player. But it's because Kobe had no one. His second best player after Shaq left was Smush for god sakes. Kyrie has an influx of talent so his approach should be unselfish bball to maximize the output of that talent. And while I clearly see he tries to get his team involved, he would help discourage selfish, arrogant basketball more if his personality wasn't that way in the first place.

    • Adam Feliciano
      Adam Feliciano 6 months ago

*yawn* so because we have different views I’m sucking him off? great comeback really shows your age...saw the same interview. What he’s saying is that THEY have to play unselfishly. HE can play selfishly because he’s good enough to. Kobe can play selfishly because he was great. Everyone else had to run the triangle. When the Celtics made their run it wasn’t because of jts iso ball or browns. It was Stevens offense schemes. Kyrie played no different than last year when they were top of the east before he went down after the all start break (meaning he had them top 2 for almost a whole season) as a matter of fact he’s been better and healthier this year, they need to fall in line and they actually have recently. The heat loss was way too overblown so...keep being a keyboard thug bruh

    • zoomboomashz
      zoomboomashz 6 months ago

Adam Feliciano I literally watched Kyrie in an interview say that he told his team they’re playing selfish basketball and then he admitted he plays selfish basketball too which he needs to work on but then used the excuse “but I can get my shot any time so it’s different” he’s not wrong bout being unstoppable but that’s a TREMENDOUS ego. Don’t you think his teammates feel like they can get theirs anytime to. Just cause you can doesn’t mean you should. He’s the leader. It starts with him. Look at giannis. In a recent interview he said it’s not about personal accolades. It’s about playing for the team. If we do that then the accomplishments will come and will win championships. That’s the mindset of a great leader. THERE ARE LEVELS TO THIS SHIT and I do blame Kyrie regardless of how well he individually plays because mentally he’s not setting the right example for the team and their arrogance WILL hold them back if they don’t manage it.

I feel everyone has been attacking jaylen brown lately . First they moved him to bench , then they got mad at him mid game then this..

Jaylen brown has been the guy putting up 30 for us and leading the team most nights since IT got injured in playoffs. Now I feel everyone tryna discredit him , he moved to the bench for what reason? Jaylen brown can easily be a leading scorer still & he’s aggressive defensively

    • EmanAEfinest926
      EmanAEfinest926 6 months ago +1

He is always gonna be the odd man out. He was drafted as a small forwad thats his natural position. What have the celtics added since brown, 2 iso heavy sf(morris, tatum), a all star forward(hayward), and semi as a backup. Brown is a slasher but in Stevens offense he is used as a spot up shooter and rarely for hand offs going to the rim. If you notice when brown put up 20+, its usually when he goes to the rim often and gets plays drawn for him to be aggressive.

I am not surprised The Boston Celtics lost to Miami( in Miami ). They usually go down there, get caught-up with The Beaches, Babes, and Nightlife, then play a shitty game. But, I see the real problem on this team: Gordon Hayward and his daddy Brad Stevens. Coach Steven’s relationship to Gordon is disrupting the progress of this team. Stevens is giving Hayward more minutes than he deserves. As a result, both Jaylen. Town and Terry Rozier are getting less minutes.
