Dr. Krupka, great video on how the thyroid works!! I now realize why I feel so bad. Had my thyroid removed (cancer) on Levothyroxine now, they only test TSH & Free T4 and say I'm OK, can't help me. I was on Cytomel (T3) at one time and felt MUCH better. Doctor says T3 meds are not for long term use. The last year has been horrible, extreme hypo symptoms with ER visits (no help) I have a new Doc & will run ALL tests you have mentioned in other videos. Thanks again!!

What are some of the factors or causes that could lead to normal Free T4 and T3 levels but a slightly elevated TSH level (5.6). Symptoms are tiredness and numbness in body. Any recommendations?

Is there a good functional Medicine doctor near Gilroy, Ca? I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia for 3 years.
