  • Snowpiercer is a sequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?
A follow-up to the Rhino Stew video.
New comparison of the two films, with more connections between the two!
If you’re into this whole hypothesis, I made another shorter video with EVEN MORE random links between the two movies:

    BONUS MATERIAL / mash-ups available at: ru-clip.com/video/EmzQt1W_pgk/video.html
The original Rhino Stew video completely blew my mind when I first saw it, so this one is inspired by their idea. Watch the original here: ru-clip.com/video/jEX52h1TvuA/video.html

I always thought the bucket was just them passing around the bathroom. When your in jail and they dont have a toilet or a hole in the ground, they just leave you a bucket. It needs to be emptied when filled, but for those that cannot make it to the location, the bucket goes to them.

Some of your connections seem really just coincidence, but im not here to judge your theories. Nice video, and like the one by Rhino Stew, this brings up good points of comparison

    As much as I loved both videos on this theory, one part kinda ruins it for me ;-;
In the scene with the kids in Snowpiercer, it shows Wilfred as a kid. Maybe it was film shot after he had already inherited the Wonka factory? But if that's the case, the footage in the movie shows he may be a bit too young for that? I dont know ;-; otherwise, great video! I honestly love this theory so much omfg!!

@Michael Xavier m8, I love this theory. All I'm saying is that these people are pretending that the movie is purely original in it's own format. People dont know that there are novels of spin offs and continuations of the story. And the books are NOT for sure a sequel to Willy Wonka! People need to know that the movie is not a original idea!! And therefor the real story that it comes from, is not a sequel from Willy Wonka, but its film adaptation might be because the director is just cool like that.

Another hint that Charlie was directly influenced by Wonka, CW-7 changed the world. Like there was "nothing... to it." Charlie's > message to < Wonka that he succeeded in taking on his legacy.

What I meant tho, is the lyrics to Pure Imagination dictate the motivation of Wilford's actions. The chorus is subtly reprised numerous times throughout Snowpiercer. "Anything you want you do it" "Want to change the world?" (He did, bc...) "There's nothing to it." I should point out how selfrighteous this comes off, (do what thy will, etc...) or where this comes from, but the film made that clear with cosmic Karma.
So yes, I think he planned it from the beginning. Gained a twisted perspective thanks to Wonka's song and struck out with it in his heart. A man's work to have come that far. If you believe a top hat makes the man, or a role model.

Well, there _were_ 7 main characters in WILLY WONKA:
      1) Charlie
      2) his Grandpa
      3) Willy Wonka
      4) Augustus Gloop
      5) Veruca Salt
      6) Violet Beauraguard
      7) Mike Teevee
Was Wilford/Charlie behind the spread of CW-7 to justify the creation of his train?

There is a Second Book of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

AMog Ea There is a little part of me that want these theories to be real life, maybe not the freezing of the planet part. But ice ages are real.
Hopefully we can chat through this thread from time to time.
I would like to hear about your thoughts every now and then. It’s nice to bounce ideas off of others input.
