Veggie Burger recipe /Mcaloo Tikki Burger/Home made MacDonald's veg Burger from Aarchi's kitchen

  • Ingredients :
    1. 4 burger buns
    2. 5 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    3. 1/3 cup boiled corn kernels, 1/3 cup boiled green peas
    4. 1/3 cup finely chopped carrots, 2 tbs chopped coriander
    5. 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp chat masala
    6. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
    7. 3 tbs tomato sauce, 3 tbs eggless mayonnaise and 1 tbs red chilli sauce
    8. 1 tomato, sliced and 1 onion rings
    9.oil and salt to taste
    10. 2 bread slice and 1/2 cup cornflour
    Method :
    1. Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a bowl
    2. Add corn, green peas, carrots,coriander
    3. Add garam masala, black pepper powder, chaat masala, ginger chilli paste and salt to taste
    4.crumble 2 slices of bread and add into potato mixture
    5. Add 2 tsp cornflour
    6. Mix well with your hand
    7. Make large patties, as the size of bun
    8. Heat nonstick pan and add 2 tbs oil in it
    9. Take cornflour in a plate and coat the patty with the cornflour
    10. Place the patty in the pan and cook on medium flame till it turns golden brown
    11. Turn over and cook from other side
    12. Burger patty is ready
    13. For preparing burger sauce add 3 tbs tomato sauce, 3 tbs eggless mayonnaise, and 1 tbs red chilli sauce and mix well
    14. Cut the burger bun horizontally into halves
    15. Apply butter on the both the bun halves
    16. Spread 1 tbs prepared burger sauce on lower half of the bun
    17. Place some lettuce leaves on it
    18. Place prepared patty on it
    19. Spread some burger sauce on the patty
    20. Place 2 tomato slices and 2-3 onion rings on it
    21. Cover with other bun half and press slightly
    22. Serv immediately with potato wafers
