    This is almost a pizza dough recipe for neapolitan pizzas, it looks exceptionally good bread, love the sound of cutting through it and eating at the end, oh for smellavision!! The lady I think has turned out a nice looking bread. I wonder if you could try changing the recipe and adding some dried fruits or an egg yolk into the mix for a different flavour. Cant believe the number of views on this....incredible..😄

    My wife and I tried it and it was very good and easy to prepare. We let it cook about 40 minutes in low heat and then turned it over. We used a thermometer to check that it was properly cooked (190 F) Thanks for this recipe!

    This is especially great in the summer when I don't want to heat up the house with the oven. I may even go outside with the camp stove and an iron skillet. Imagine this with a pot of beans or homemade soup.

    Some directions would be helpful. Like how long in the oven or pan or the other pan when being heated at what setting for how long. Simple stuff for those who already know how but imperative for those who don't already know.

    My grandmother always made her own bread when I was growing up in the 50's/60's/70's. The smell of freshly baked bread was always in the air, cooked on a 'range'. Much better & tastier than the mass produced stuff. 🍞🍞

    The texture looked like the Italian bread I used to make ,as Captain's cook in Navy .
    I would add yeast to my water though 110° Ft.
    Let the yeast prep,than add it to my flour.
    Let rise pound down,make long roll,Let rise....add egg yolks with brush on outside of bread ,it gave a unique look,and tasted good to.

      @inyazserg Sergey Larin Usually 30 minutes to an hour each rise, depending how warm it is in your house. Always put it in a warm place. I like my house cool, so I put my dough inside the oven, while still off, but I turn the oven light on, which gives off the perfect amount of heat. You’re looking for your dough to double in size, then you’ll punch it down, re-knead it back to your desired shape, and let rise again, or make rolls or baguettes and let rise again. Just depends on what you’re making. Hope this helps. :))

      evening, Jeff. I live in Ukraine abd during the war my country had to export most of its bread, so the prices have soared by 50% and are still growing. It has been my dream for dozens of years to learn cooking cookies and bread-like products.
      I can see that you are passionate about cooking, and know some practical recepies. May I ask about what time this 'rising' takes? Does the smell or some other indicator tell you it has risen sufficiently?

      В 90-тых так пекли хлеб, кто жил в 90тые знает и поймёт. Сейчас, что то не получается, толи с мукой не то, толи с дрожжами, портят наверное, чтобы хлебозаводчики прибыль не теряли

    In Australia, we call it a "DAMPER" it is usually cooked in a camp oven. The hot coals are under the camp oven and also on the lid. The camp oven is made of cast iron hence, it cooks pretty evenly. Anything you can do in a oven, can be done in a camp oven usually when one is camping. Hence the name CAMP and OVEN.😉😉

      @Ashleigh Beyers Hi , I cooked it on my gas stove on medium for about 12 to 15 minutes..and then turned it for another ten minutes..depending on your stove and also how crunchy you like it.
      Its divine...I made it thus far once a week..
      Enjoy....its yummy

    Look at the Diffuser plate on the burner stove top. This helps distribute the low heat evenly across the bottom of pan. If I only had a brain......

    I wasn't hungry, until I heard that crunch. Once I heard the crunch, my brain exploded! I could taste it, smell it, vivid imagery of all of the things I'd love to eat with and on this bread filled my mind! Not the best video to have watched just before bed time!

      Freshly baked bread is so tasty. And it also has a crunch to it. Just don't keep it too long in its pan before cutting otherwise it absorbs some of the steam.

    She said low flame 🔥 and it had to be low so the bread don’t burn. This is the tricky part so the bread is crunchy and soft, She did not mentioned the time either so we had to watch it constantly to make sure that it would not be raw in the middle, and turn it over and wait for the final product. I said that the color of the toast will let you know when to turn it over.
