  • GREAT VIDEO by Straight Pipe Productions. My personal project, a 1977 Ironhead sportster transformed into a hardtail bobber. Bike took me on and off..... 3 years to build. 21" front wheel, 16" rear wheel Sanatee rear hard tail section, z bars, 1966 pontiac gto parking lamp converted to brake light, and a PAINT GUN converted to a brake pedal. Custom gold paint with gold flake and airbrushing. Stainless steel oil bag and battery box. Full paint shop footage also!!!!!

Uhmmm... I was quite literally just dreaming about this bike in my head and then watched a video. I know nothing about this bike though. I was born in 1977 and almost bought a 74 sportster. That's how I ended up here. so, what does bobber mean? I want a bike to sit with a... oh yeah I'm a gear head... I think I want a sportster with a new frame custom the way I want it built. chopper that you can almost drive like any other bike. the seat real low and the bars on a long fork. short wheelbase tho

Very cool build,,freakin paint is off the chart. I ride a panhead off in a softail frame..5 speed revtech, etc. I feel where you are coming from.but I was injured in a crane accident at work..and the soft tail frame is easier on my body...
