The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open is scheduled to go ahead between August 23 - September 11.

The 91’ connors vs McEnroe point might actually be better than this. Considering the fairy tale run the US open run was for connors. Both are definitely top 2 and deserve all the praise it gets
You need to watch more. This is far from the best rally ever. Most of the shots aren't penetrating enough. Some of the more spectacular rallies includes rare shots like a tweener or dive volley.

Crazy how far Djokovics game has developed and how well he covers the court.
He is master in sliding, almost covers complete width no one can do like Djokovic
This was 2011 Djokovic at the end of probably the most successful season ever played.
The 3rd set in this match was a match in itself. It took 80 minutes and by the end Rafa was barely standing.
Novak was truly invincible from AO 2011 till AO 2012, only Federer and Murray could stand a chance vs Djoko, eventually Rafa found the antidote too at US 2013.
Nadal beat Djokovic ok clay once or twice in 2012 unlike 2011 where he lost twice to him. He also bested him on Montreal before us open 2013

Nadal had a break in the final Set and just 2 Games away from winning the title. Federer 2004/2007 is the closest thing of being unbeatable; he was 11-0 in non-clay Slam finals and he lost in clay against the best version of Nadal who lost like 1 match in 3 or 4 years
2012 AO was a toss up! So don't try it!

its really hard and risky at that point, shooting a cross is easier than shooting down the line, especially after a long rally, thats why nadal was on that side too, also if djoko wanted to shoot a down the line, his posture would be different and nadal would move there, anyway in the end nadal took the risk of shooting down the line and it paid off..
…everything is clear in hindsight. Difficult to make quick judgments on the spot when it is happening.
