10:15 I’ve been to that fountain when I went to visit relatives in Italy. Some dumb possibly American tourist filled a water bottle with this fountain. Unbeknownst to him, this was a place we’re Italians could wash their hands or something and the water was recycled or so I’m told

Prisoner: I killed the president, raided area 51 and killed 20 guards, killed 5 people I hate, and when I went to court, I hid a knife and killed the entire court. My next court I only killed a police officer wich was nothing. I was sentenced for execution, and escape all 10 times. They where tired, so they put me in a max security cell. I escaped 30 times. And what are you in here in this max security prison?
Another prisoner: I only threw a painting...

Can any damage really be undone? Even the lightest mark would cost hundreds in years of it's longevity. Even of the stone could be worn down to not show it, it still causes irreparable damage. Let me ask. How many times can a statue be touched up before all original markings are gone? Even if it is an exact approximate, that is still gone. All that stone lasting that extra 100 years is gone. Come to me after you are in charge of an almost non existent knife. Things wear down. Dont cause extra wear, dont be a tool.

Did you know that king tuts mask (from his tomb) was put on display ONE TIME in a museum, but after the tourists left, they found a chip of the mask ripped of, and had GLUE on it. To try to fix it. They never brought it to America again. America is like a toddler...

My condolences to the people of Italy. I was there for four months and heard plenty of stories about priceless artwork being destroyed by tourists. Their country is rich in history, and they shouldn’t have to fear losing something that’s been around for centuries

  • Spilmec

Not gonna lie, I understand that tourists destroying things when they are told not to is idiotic, but I feel like making artwork "priceless" is kinda idiotic as well. It's an object, work has been put into it, and it has made it through time. It has a price. Some people are just a bit too dramatic.
