Where's Thomas?
The best channel I've come across, commitment, passion, motivation, beauty. I can't stop watching, Thank you :)
So what was your total cost all in, including the original purchase of the car?
I love the racing ,that's awesome
Them 7sec it should cost at least 100k ..!Great job ..!
What did your mom and dad say about the times you ran?
I would love to see a financial breakdown of this car! Such a beast!
Classic restoration project, check out Maple Motors.
Great attitudes and never quit work ethic! Keep it up you all.....
Might be a bit late, but MORE DRAG STRIP VIDS! I got hooked on Cleetus videos, and found my way here...addiction has many forms haha
What happened to this Z06? You guys still have it?
HAHA. THE DEMOLITIA SHIRT :)
Drag talk from a Merc owner... No cred at all.
Dame boys 7 seconds first time on a stock car is ridiculous.... great job bros
For 1st timers you guys smoked it.....
Guys you should do BMW restoration too!
So excited for you guys! Loved watching the restoration of this magnificent Corvette Z06. I really enjoy the team work you guys do together. I'm no way a car junkie, nor do I know anything about cars (other than drive them lol) but maaan, I enjoyed every part of your adventure doing the Corvette up to this stage. I'm well over pumped..New subbie here :) Looking forward to watching more of your guys videos. Next stop, 2018 Camero ZL1 videos..Peace Out guys..watching from New Zealand AGAIN! :D..Keep up the great & awesome fixes.

Yikes.. Dont power shift unless you want to trash your clutch..

Yo
They could be in the low 7's when they get the hang of it. Good job for a beginner. Great car and great work.
Savage 🔥🔥🔥 im your lost brother ❤️❤️❤️
The Merc it wasn't stock, I have the exact same car and I noticed some major differences.
Shoot take the viper out there too man. Race it up!!
Brainard Optimist Dragstrip. 1/8 of a mile Drag Strip that use to be a 1/4 of a mile, but an incident with a car & the Chickamauga Creek put an end to that..
Who actually owns these awesome vehicles did you split them up and how do you pay for it all
Well done boys
HELLO GOONZQUAD IT WAS NICE BUT NEXT TIME YOU SHOULD DO WITH HELLCAT BUT IT WAS VERY NICE SUPERB JOB BOTH OF YOU NEXT TIME YOU BOTH WILL BE THE FIRST WITH THE HELLCAT BUT VERY NICE I APPRECIATE YOU NICE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From which wreck yard do you get these wrecked car at auction... can you please provide links if any?
Really good guys enjoyed, Vette the only Chevy I'd own but couldn't own a tire on a new one, thanks again.
Nice
by the way great job fellows especially for first timers. keep up the good work
I heard you guys make a comment about how you forgot to put on the traction control during one of your launches oh, well even the 7-speed cars have launch control. look up how to use it on RU-clip there's nobody videos it might help you with your times
7.7 isn't bad for your first time to the track, especially in that monster. It should have a lot more left in it. I watched a C6 ZR1 do a 7.8 spinning most of the way down the track. I've got a buddy who has a '05 C6 auto. His times were not good until he disabled the traction control. With the power in your machine, you gents will need to be very careful if doing so...it could get away from you quick.
great to see u doin your racin at the trak and not the street or from the law, two thumbs up
You guys brothers or best friends?
All the dislikes are probably jealous old men.
Tracks too wet
You need to hold your revs up higher for your launch, then very quickly feather the clutch in while not letting your revs drop. Keep the gas on while shifting and dump the clutch on each shift.
I love y'alls projects. You two are awesome at fixing cars and, if y'all aint( yes I said ain't not aren't) then y'all put on an excellent facade! Anyways y'all do good work from what the video is show! The videos are awesome but I got to say what do y'all do with the cars afterwards? Also constructive criticism put a little bass in your voice please that's all I ask and I'm not trying to be hard! The last thing I'm trying to be is a troll! I only even say that because I love y'alls videos so much but it plays different with high pitch. I'm not a hater if y'all email me I will take this down I promise you it's not a big deal. I am amazed that y'all was work for some young guys y'all on y'alls game!! You young men are the truth
You guys need to learn how to drive stickshift. Over here (the Netherlands) it's pretty standard. You both have the car almost stalling when getting of the mark. You gotta rev it up way more.
12:00 "SMOKE UMM"
I'm sure you guys must have figured out by now,.. but, keeping the traction control on will cost you a second or more on your time. Especially out of the hole, then on every shift. It totally shuts down the RPM. Think about how much of a restriction that is,..holding back power below the amount needed to break tires in the slightest.
Nice to see you guys out there! Great job! Love your videos! I have the 2nd fastest bone stock on drag radials C6Z06 time and the 3rd fastest 100% bone stock time over on the Corvette forum (username Dr.Ron over there). A few helpful tips. Don't go through the water before your burnout on street tires!! You won't get all of the water off, plus the front tires drag water to the starting line reducing your traction for the launch. Do a 5300 rpm burnout to the 1st sign of smoke. Just press the brake hard enough to hold the car. Then release the brake and ride out the burnout to the starting line. Try to stage as shallow as possible (barely light the 2nd staging bulb) for the best ET. Do NOT worry about reaction time unless you are running to beat someone. It doesn't effect your ET. Shift at redline as fast as possible. Lift when you shift to minimize tire spin on shifts. TC off. Tour mode will actually help traction by letting the car squat back onto the rear tires. Air the fronts up to 45psi and the rears down to 26psi. Launch at like 3100 rpm and ride the clutch out some while flooring it, but at a fast, gradual pace once she is squatted back onto the rear tires. You need to get that 60' down. You should be able to get at least a 1.7x , which will drop the ET a good bunch. Remember that in the summer heat the car will run a good 1-2 tenths of a second slower. Keep at it and keep the videos coming boyz!
That was pretty cool! I'd be down for more drag strip videos!
Tons of fun you two are born for this shit. You give me hope for the Millennial Generation that up to now looked to me like a bunch of triggered snowflakes!
fantastic videos guys
Why you don't activate the launch control
You guys keep the cars?
Best way to fuck up clutches and transmissions.... This car is made for a road course.
No offince but y’all don’t know how to do launch control
Good try it's all about practice
Love your work guys all the way from the uk
Your boy needs to learn how to launch the vette WITHOUT launch control. Vette should be running 6s or low 7s.
Was the Mercedes an automatic?
Used to run there all the time.
you guys build n fix em. ill race em. Your 60' is terrible. love the channel tho. wish i had the money to work on the project i have collecting dust like you guys. 01 Lightning

What was the total cost of the vett in the end
Damn i didn't know you were local in Chattown awesome man. when you going to the Brainerd strip next?

You guys should race the mustang
demoliatia fan right there
Rebuild a Car and trash it, Nice
Two thumbs up for you boys for takin it to the drag strip, than racing on public roads. ;)
Rebild a lambo
Loved this video
No way that thing is doing 8 second quarter miles..
Great Work Fellas...
Thats what she said
Good to see you have a night of fun all you guys do is work work work 👍
are using launch control ?
Thomas @ 15:39
Come on wreck it again
Reaction time doesn't affect your ET. It only matters if you're racing someon else. The timer starts when your car crosses the line regardless of how long it takes you to react.
What was the total expense on the car?
damn, i cant stop watching your videos guys
You guys should really do a GTR rebuild!
