Damn that ending made me think about his LA decision. He beat the Boston big 4, he beat Pop’s Spurs. He got Cleveland a championship. The one Goliath he missed an opportunity to face was Kobe’s Lakers. He can never take that, but what better way to make up for it than to finish what Kobe started and what Jim Buss unfortunately didn’t live to see, and that is getting the Lakers more banners than the Celtics. If he manages to win 2 of the next 4. It’s over. He’s the GOAT.

You forgot to say people were seriously saying he was better than Kobe at this time even though he had no rings. Listen Brons best SF all time but you can’t say a player with no rings is better than a player with 5. That just used to seriously irritate me. Now, I’m 22 and like alright, we can talk now but back then, hell no LeBron fans used to piss me off. My man had 5 rings why were we debating that then?!?! Lol And that Celtics team caused hell for us too.

This video is kind of sad really. MJ is the GOAT and these videos fall flat. SIDE NOTE: Hubie Brown and Bob Knight crowned MJ as the greatest basketball player of all time during 1984 Olympic scrimmages College Allstars vs NBA Allstars where they played in a week-long series which included Isiah Thomas, and Magic Johnson among other hall of famers. Keep in mind this is months before MJ played his first career NBA game.

Is it just me or do the majority of these videos sound terrible for Kenton’s case for the goat? Like listening to this just makes me think, “damn Lebron is really not even in the running anymore. In the Kareem and Magic videos there was so much positive going for them, but in this series it’s just, “Lebron was really really ass, then he did something amazing to make up for it a little bit.” Like these 3 vids did more damage to Lebron’s legacy than anything else for me at least.

    • Kisembe Namusyule
      Kisembe Namusyule 7 months ago

my thinking too. Its like a Greek tragedy. Lebron amazes you, gets your hopes up, lets you down, then right when you are about to give up on does this season what you expected last season as if it erases the disappointment.

Lebron James, champion for fatherless niggas all over the world. No amount of backwards thinking and revising history is going to take away all those finals losses. When it came down to having everything on the line, the nigga failed 6 out of 9 times. GOATs don't let a single team stand in the way of them getting their ring that many fucking times having a demi-god body and superhuman athleticism. This nigga has been given every gift and basically been allowed to GM his own teams and pick his friends and get preferential treatment and FLOP, yes, FLOP his way through games during his heat days. The man is a manufactured GOAT if anything. He's a substitute for the Jordan era that wasn't even half as skilled as the Substitute for Jordan himself, Kobe. I'm just going to leave this here and do my due diligence to remind these fatherless negroes who have taken up Lebron as their surrogate daddy, that Lebron is NOT the GOAT, and the fact that these types of videos exist en masse, proves he's not. Ya'll are still trying to convince yourselves and everyone else that Lebron is better than Jordan. Talk to me when Lebron leads a team for his 6th ring. It doesn't even have to be with 0 losses. Just let the man lead a team for 3 more rings and I'll consider it.

Yeah, Celtics totally dominated LeBron. Last time the Celtics made it to the final was when LeBron's best teammate was Mo Williams, a 33 year old Antawn Jamison, or a 37 year old Shaq. Oh, and every season sincr they made it, LeBron made it to the Finals. I'm sorry, but no man should be expected to carry ANY of the teams LeBron played with his first go in Cleveland.

I don't give a fuck about stats because Wilt Chamberlain is the king of records and stats. You can't have as many L's as Michael Air Jordan the real 🐐 has wins in the finals and be called the goat. I'm not saying stats aren't important at all because all the really great players in the HOF have crazy stats when it boils down to it but stats should not mean as much when you're getting your goose cooked in the finals way more times than not, that was also the problem with Wilt Chamberlain but I'll call Will Chamberlain the goat before I call LeBron James the goat and I've liked LeBron since he was in high school you can hook me up to a lie detector test and ask me that question and I'll pass, my only problem with LeBroom is I don't think he's the goat at all. I like how Dom pointed out LeBron literally saying "it's going to be easy" because that's why he downplays him ever been on a super team because he regrets what he said and he knows they underachieved badly in Miami but that doesn't mean a team they called the "Miami Heatles" wasn't a super team just because LeBroom wants to put out narratives that say they wasn't. I got to give LeBron hello props though for being still top dog after 15 years in the NBA, also I love LeBron's AND Steph Curry's stance on social issues and not being afraid to speak up about Injustice and racism, that's something that a lot of players didn't do back in the day even though people love to point at Jordan for not saying anything a lot of players could have said spoke up back in the day and they didn't like Karl Malone, Shaq, Kobe, Reggie Miller Etc.

this is the type of adversity and pressure KD never had to go through in GS. He's had 1 competitive series out of the 8 he's played while in GS, sadly there's been no one to challenge GS and there likely won't be anyone in the near future either. That's literally the only reason people don't value KD's rings, if he was going through 6-7 game series from the semi-finals to the finals each year then no one would care that he joined a 73-9 team since the games were still super competitive.

    • T biscuit
      T biscuit 7 months ago

and they'll never win 73 games again.. why would they go all out in the regular season? If this team wanted to put in 90% effort during the regular season they could EASILY win 73 games considering they have 5 all stars on their team lol but why should they bother? not like it gets you anything and the Warriors already hold the record for most wins in the regular season, why go for it again? Kerr said he regretted going for it and wasting their energy during the regular season when they could have used it in the finals.

    • T biscuit
      T biscuit 7 months ago

+Coinraker they lost ANDREW BOGUT who hasn't played a significant game since 2016, Harrison Barnes who's a bit above average putting up some empty stats on a bottom feeder in Dallas, and some role players who they've replaced with ease. He joined the core of a 73 win team including finals MVP iggy, Steph, Klay, and Draymond. Cut the shit with that "he didn't join the 2016 warriors so it's not a 73 team" they lost role players not god damn curry and klay smh cmon man. He doesn't need any excuses made for him he's literally swept through the playoffs for 2 straight years minus the Houston series.

    • Coinraker
      Coinraker 7 months ago

Please stop saying KD joined a 73 win team, he didn't. Warriors didn't resign a bunch of guys to make cap space, including two startes. And before you reply with something stupid like none of those other guys mattered, Harrison Barnes was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Mavs last year. KD obviously joined the Warriors to ring chase but he didn't join "the team" that won 73. In fact Warriors have not repeated that feat since he's been there.
