Watch Elon Musk’s Neuralink presentation

  • Published on Jul 17, 2019
  • Electric vehicles, rockets... and now brain-computer interfaces. Elon Musk's newest venture, Neuralink, aims to bridge the gap between humans and artificial intelligence by implanting tiny chips that can link up to the brain. At a press conference on July 16, Neuralink's ambitious plans were detailed for the first time, showcasing a future (a very distant future!) technology that could help people deal with brain or spinal cord injuries or controlling 3D digital avatars.
Elon Musk says Neuralink plans 2020 human test of brain-computer interface:

Scary mad science technology...he looks a bit like an alien himself. I wonder who's really behind the technology downloaded to this kind of people. This will be the easiest way to take over the world. We have become a worldwide connected society whose every move is being tracked and catalogued. Revelation 13:16 says: " forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads". Sweden and France have already started microchipping hands of people for "convenience". RESIST unleashed mad science technology!...we human have existed for eons of time without interfacing with computers. ET technology is all about cyborgs and biological entities that have been "upgraded". We have been taken over and infiltrated by these dark forces...Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against THE RULERS, against THE AUTHORITIES, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual wickedness in HIGH PLACES".

I would volunteer for neuralink. I could use anything to remember what I'm doing. I forget measurements and angles. Be a carpenters best friend.

Congratulations! This is a milestone. I hope the next generation of humans, will be able to come up with a way to deal with feelings of guilt and shame that come from acknowledging one's inabilities/disabilities, if there are any people like that left any way. Maybe the new man will come up with a decision making model more ecologically sound, than the eugenicists.

What do you think Neuroliink could possibly do to enhance the quality of RU-clip comments? Nothing, which is the general problem it faces. The existential threat associated with so-called AI isn't technical but existential. Must has a tendency to harp on about "bandwidth" but this is very much the secondary problem.

This is a game-changer. People won't just be able to control their phone or any other device they are connected to but also talk to each other through it inside their brain, telepathy.
Just one doubt, what if it gets hacked or what's the level of cybersecurity needed for this to be safe?

If i am not mistsken, Mr.Musk have reasons to believe that A.I will surpass human intelligence in the long run. By enhancing human intelligence with A.I it will provide humans a fighting chance. Otherwise we may be to an advanced A.I, what a chimpansee is to a human. This is my interpretarion of the vision behind neuralink.

Almost the only one obviously worried about the implications of ai (Elon Musk) , is going to introduce the largest implementation of ai neuralink in the human brain .Can he resist the temptation and implementing government- control- software , or can he prevent viruses from invading the system? Please think about that for a minute ! What do we have of precedent situations ?

Hi Elon, I was watching one of your video's on your ideas for neurological technology for the brain.
I have also watched a video about a child who was born with no arms and no legs.
Do you suppose, that, with an adaptation to your neurological technology combined with nano technology and bio 3D printing, that it would be possible to bio print two arm and two legs and then use your technology combined with nano technology to attach them to the child's body?
