Phosphorescent bikes are fun to ride and great for security.Their major drawback is that the glow-in-the-dark paint is fading too quickly.
That's why we used UV LEDS to boost the glow while the wheel in spinning like in the nori lights project. However we did not use the bicycle rim because it is too thin and brake blocks would weaken the paint. Also LEDS are powered with a rechargeable smartphone power bank that can be found anywhere.

Since the zinc oxide retains light for fee seconds, why not switch led on and off periodically? It will save battery energy.

a suggestion, to do this because I did it with gray foam a bit stiff cut into strips like the width that comes out in the video and you hit vinyl photoluminescent and ready without much complication since the photoluminescent spray paint is a bit expensive and the vinyl is more economical

Do we only spray all the paint on one side of the transparent sheet?
I meant the white paint, Phospho paint and varnish.
    All on one side?

I would hook the LEDs up to a bicycle dynamo, so the faster you go, the brighter your wheels become. Of course, you need to limit current, but still a thought
