Nothing shown is amazing in the vid. The thread cutter is at least 2000 years old Roman tech. FFS any apprentice served cabinet, furniture etc maker has been doing what was shown since like forever and better. Made me laugh at the frame biscuit joint. That is not how they are done, they are supposed to be blind biscuit joints. Having a fancy machine does not make the operater a skilled craftsman.

Nice work. I can see that you are an excellent finish Carpenter. I wish you would have shown some finished products of those video clips. ( it's kind of like watching a boxing match on TV, then the electricity goes out in the last round).
P.S. Use some rock music in your next clip.🎸

    • steve gale
      steve gale 24 days ago

It is a thread cutter and a Roman empire invention. It is at least 2000 year old tech.

It's just a thread cutter for wood.

Wow. No I've seen a lot of things of which I would like to understand how they have been created. Not a single bit could be learned here; disappointed.

This is not some modern and amazing woodworking, instead what you showed us in that video are just decades old techniques that are not used in woodworking any more. If you want to see the real modern machines go see the FELDER Format 4 machinery: www.format-4.com/fg-en/products/cnc-machining-centres/5-axes-cnc-machining-centre-profit-h500-16-56-s-motion.html

This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?

You seem to have learned this word and you like so much that you use almost exclusively: EVERYTHING is 'amazing'...not curious, or interesting or clever..FUCKING amazin
Never mind that much of what you show is banal, hacneyed, boring and seen before countless times...it is 'amazing'.
Sometimes is 'best'...just plain 'good' does not seem to exist in your world
Ohh look! A 'hammer'1 A 'hammer'? You mean that fing wot ye smack niles wiv ? Man oh man, wot will dey fink of next huh? "hammer'...

    holz ist was fantastisches.

*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is an amazing book about woodworking. I`m a graduate of a one-year carpentry course from a local tech college. Of all books I`ve read during my study about carpentry, I think this is the finest book I`ve read so far. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?
