iPhone 11 vs Pixel 4 XL video comparison: The winner is clear

this is none sense, in the first clip the clear winner was the Pixel 4, it had waaaay better Dynamic range and contrast, the iphone was waay too flat.

...question. What hand was the iPhone in while recording this stuff? I'm just going to venture a guess and say that you're most likely right handed, and were carrying the iPhone in your right hand. If this is so, this is also just another subconscious sign of your biasness. I definitely disagree with what you were saying about some of the exposure stuff, and actually prefer the pixel's camera. Just because it looks more real. It is more similar to what we would perceive with our eyes. If I don't like the way the exposure is, I can change that in post anyways.

Weird, looking at the videos the pixel produced sharper videos than the iPhone 11. Specially on the first one. The cloth on the chairs look better on pixel than iPhone, definitely I could not recommend a Pixel this year since ..it's crap ...just wait to next one or wait on the big price drop from google in the near future since I bet sales will be ..less than expected. Hope they pull a Microsoft xbox one and do a mid year refresh of their phone lol .

Am i seeing the same videos as you guys? Watching theses clips on a 2K Screen it seems that the iPhone 11 pro Videos were not even a 4k recording but accidentally were recorded in 1080p. The texture on the chairs in the music clip on the Pixel is amazing while the iPhone footage is just blurry. Same with the waves and boardwalk on the waterfront scene. Negativ point for the pixel : stuttering when panning and some focus "pumping".

To people: I can admit fluidity is better on iPhone, but colors?, they are natural, if you have hepatitis of course...If you cant see that iPhone videos are way to warm, very contrasted, and shadows are very crushed, well, you should be talking about "realistic"; it can be pleasant for sure, but not natural/realistic.

I like the footage from the pixel better, the iPhone is mostly oversaturated, and and you can see some flickering effects when moving. The pixel on the other hand looks like a footage from a dlsr, no flickering, good exposure. clear and sharp. I have an iPhone 11 Pro, I like the phone, but what I don’t really like is the oversaturation and flickering.

iPhone 11 clearly better dynamic range, with better and more accurate color rendition, better brightness, and better contrast. For the stabilization, just need a gimbal.

There is some magenta tint in the Pixel 4. iPhone is more accurate and better overall.

the iPhone camera is brighter with lesser contrast. The Pixel 4 has darker image quality and the edges seem more uneven and lesser image stabilisation and exposure.

Hey are you sure you used right codecs???... video from both phones looks strange....iPhone overexposed white wall with artefacts and also both are looking very choppy ...i don’t see that in other reviews.

The Pixel 4 is overpriced by at least $300-$400.

Only thing Pixel 4 has going for it is that orange color. I wish the 11 had come in a similar color with a black aluminum frame.
My purple is still cool though.

Pixel footage looks like it’s been graded. Sort of like film. iPhone just looks like a cell phone video.

By the way, as the Pixel 4 crops the video, you even don't get 4k. Obviously it's just upscaled 4k, a crop doesn't have enough pixels for 4k. Though I guess when you disable video stabilization, you should get real 4k

Cellphone footage gives me a headache. In daylight, the shutter speed is thousands/sec and its so choppy and compressed. Makes even the state of the art unbearable
