You can measure the angle and Mark lines and then draw expanding circles. It's much faster way of drawing.

you have drawn the radii of circles to increase proportionally. r: 1, 2, 3, 4.
    If you draw r: 1 4 9 16, how would it be?
you can also increase the radius to the golden ratio
r: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34 I think it would be more fun.

Just one tip for you. Always pull the pencil. Pushing is OK if you using a nice thick 6B but is not kind to the paper if your using a hard lead for construction lines.
Get out of the habit of pushing. If you use draughting pens, the result, particularly with fine nibs, can be expensive.

love this video. brilliant! BUT, why not just start with the large circle and divide that into your 32 segments? why do you start with the smaller one rub it out and use a bigger one? x

I remember: In 10th grade geometry the teacher drew a horizontal line on the board and marked a point at each end of the line; point A and point B. She then turned , looking straight at me and asked if "someone" would come up and divide the line in half. I had a terrible habit of sleeping in her class and she thought she would embarrass me in front of the class. I shrugged, went to the board and using the chalk compass to draw two arcs, slightly shorter (by eyeball) in radius than the distance between A and B. These arcs intersected the horizontal line but they also intersected each other above and below the line. A line drawn with a straight edge lined up with the 'X' above the line to the 'X' below the line bisects the line perfectly, -/+ the width of the chalk. I labeled the intersection 'C', put down the chalk and returned to my seat.
Astounded, but still trying to shame me for sleeping in her class she asked me to "prove" that I had divided the line exactly in half. She wanted me to rattle off all the theorems that lead up to "proving" the method I used. Instead, I got up from my seat, went and grabbed a 3 foot piece of news print paper, held it up to the line, marked point 'A' and point 'B' on the paper, and as accurately as I could, lined the two points up with each other and creased the paper where it folded. I marked the crease 'C' after unfolding the paper and held it up to the line on the board. All points matched up perfectly. I laid the paper, neatly on the lab table by the window, being very careful to smooth it down, and returned to my seat. She didn't bother me for another week.
There are mathematical formula and theorems that explain why this pattern emerges by using the compass and straight edge in this way - but who cares. With a creative eye, it becomes a wonderful piece of art.
