    I would recommend at least 1 tsp. of lemon juice or the lemon from half a lemon in your water (12 ounces). I consume it with apple cider vinegar (1 tbs), which is also added to the water. I also drink it with a straw. Add a few drops of stevia to make it even better - a lemonade type drink with a spicy spike.

    I've been recently diagnosed with NAFLD. Within 2 weeks of following your advice and diet, I no longer feel bloated, lethargic, etc. I take ACV with every meal. I'm down between 1-2 meals per day with 14-20 hours fasting and taking all the right vitamins and minerals. First 2 weeks I was urinating like crazy but read that means fat is breaking down. I'm 47 yo and haven't felt this great in over 20 years! I went from 230 lbs and am down to 218 lbs (last I was weighed last week). Thank you Dr. Berg for all your advice! I'm definitely adding lemon juice into my regiment now. No carbs and no sugar is key.

    Been doing lemon water daily for the last 7 months, mostly out of habit. I've extended my fasts to 72 hours, and I'm telling you, that 3rd day is pure bliss. I only take lemon, acv, zinc, potassium, magnesium, chromium, B complex from yeast (just a little amount). The clarity and vitality is astounding. I'm 50 and look about 35 and feel like I'm 25. Lemon water has been on my daily through my entire keto process, which is now in its 6th month. I'm down 60 pounds, which is all of my excess weight and I'm now in the process of strengthening and ripping. Keto is amazing.

    It definitely helped me pass a kidney stone. Was in extreme pain and throwing up. Squeezed half a lemon into tap water and about 15-20 minutes later I felt the stone pass through my ureter tube into my bladder. Instant relief!

    I have high bp and was 50 lbs overweight at 62 .Started watching you and others to reduce my bp and dependance on meds In a little over 4 months i have lost over 40 lbs. and discovered i am really sensitive to salt.With the help of supplements and while on my same meds my bp has went from 145/90 and higher to 120's/60's to70's. And while i am still on meds i am very happy with the results. And my overall health is amazing. I will be 63 in December and still work construction am self employed. I owe it all to you and the internet. While my doctor wanted to up my meds. and said nothing of nutrition other than eat less and watch your salt, i resisted and did my own research.

    I have started drinking a warm cocktail in the morning instead of coffee which consists of squeezed lemon juice, distilled ginger juice, ACV, and I have been adding a little bit of aloe vera to help with some abdominal pain. I also add a little collagen to it. I'm looking forward to seeing what differences I may feel with consistent practice of drinking this in the morning.

    Good morning Dr. Berg! I love how you speak and explain your messages. I’ve found that lemon water helps flatten your stomach and helps with flatulence. If you’re gassy, just drinking a spoon of lemon juice will help get rid of gas, especially smelly gas, and flatten your stomach. It’s also good for the skin, people who have really bad acne will see a reduction of acne when they consume lemon water every day.

    Lemon water has great healing properties, I know it helped me greatly at one time in my life. One major issue, it was really hard on my teeth enamel and now my teeth are week. Please Dr. Berg please explain how we can do to protect teeth enamel.

    This is so true! I have health issues that cause kidney/bladder infections and on a whim I bought a fruit diffuser to help me drink more water. After a day I could see a difference in its appearance and as I’ve drank it daily since, I’ve only had one bladder infection in over a year. I was basically living on and off of antibiotics. Conversely, before the lemon juice; UTI’s were constant.

    I've been doing the lemon water routine first thing in the morning since 2017. Now just a few days ago I started taking one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil right after drinking my lemon water for added health benefits. Now I have to figure out how to squeeze in this whole lemon rountine for even more health benefits.
