    The road to the nowhere is often unknown. But there's always more to it, than meets the eye. Because we take to these paths only under very special circumstances, knowing fully well that all that the future holds for you, is the promise of the unknown.

    Pretty darn good! I loved the cloaking device on the robot. It's just how I imagine cloaking devices as looking. I also appreciated the portal, and the floating gun key. All very unique and well-done.
    2 things though: Firstly, the robot needs hip joints. Having the legs poke straight out of a smooth surface looks poor. Secondly, I'm getting conflicting thoughts on the final scene. Where they on Mars? It sure looked like Mars. It would be really cool if it was Mars. But you made them just open the door without space suits, and you made there be heat waves, where as Mars would be freezing cold and largely airless. Something to clarify the confusion would be appreciated.
    Otherwise awesome.

      @Cody Martinson Seems more like Grand Canyon USA. Since the stock footage seems to be from there.

      @Cody Martinson Thanks dude!
      I agree with you regarding the hip joints but that robot was an modelling experiment I did long ago and I didn't bother changing it.
      Well we did not want to be specific about the place. Take it that its just some middle of no where kinda place, maybe on earth or some other similar planet. (Or maybe even in a different Universe)

    I would agree with Vigal. I enjoy it for the idea and concept and a little bit for the effects. But the storyline needs work. I gave ya a thumbs up for what ya did anyways. But on a scale of one to ten, it's more like a '5' - straight in the middle and needs storyline work.

    8/10. Not exactly film-quality, but good stuff. Need to work on the plot a bit more. Editing? Nice. Plot? As I said, work on it a bit more. OVERALL: Good, bit still a bit rough on the edges.

    I like what you're doing - I think the problem I keep seeing is you're relying on narration to tell your stories - I think these would be much better if you were telling your plot lines visually - I would love to see a short film of yours that worked with no dialog. Keep up the good work.

    Almost Corridor Digital/Rocket Jump special effects! Great job!
    You gotta work on your actors though, they clearly underperform, make them talk more clear, and also find someone who isn't indish (no racist) but you gotta have a little variation!
    Keep it up dude :)

    • Shutter Authority
      Shutter Authority  4 years ago

      Thanks man! Um.. well I think its an overall thing. The acting can only be as good they're directed to act. So maybe its my mistake on this one. We didn't have the time to get the shots just as we wanted. Take a look at some of our other videos, you might find it better (I hope haha) ;) Thanks for the feedback dude :)

  • Urimy Dope
    Urimy Dope 4 years ago +2

    Impressive! You should make movies... Tho the scene of fighting with the spider was not as good because it seemed like that spider appearing was usual, you should have more emotions like you were scared from the spider because who wouldn't :) that was just a suggestion, keep up the good work! Subbed
