As the world becomes more electrified, the race is on to build cheaper, longer-lasting, more energy-dense batteries. One of the most promising technologies in this space is the solid state battery, developed by an absolute legend in the battery world, one of the inventors of the lithium ion battery and recent Nobel Prize winner John B. Goodenough.

Great video Joe. I´ve searched through your links but couldn't find your numbers on the energy density being 2.2 to 5 times as high. Could I get your source for that?

Have they found a way to properly dispose recycle or reuse the lithium batteries if not we're going to end up with the same problem like nuclear power plants waste that is radioactive and dangerous to anything that comes in contact with it lithium batteries have acid that can eat through Flesh Stone and Metal
Is there a way to neutralize the acids in the way that it does not affect the environment they can't even get rid of regular batteries advancements in technology does not mean it's progress progress benefits all earth-kind
advanced technology benefits the stupidity of humans as well as the laziness

That's a bad scenario that's a ridiculous theory of how the Baghdad battery came to existence the fact that they use it for electroplating gold how how how is that scenario play out I want to know from your perspective cuz I find it entertaining at least how did they learn how to electroplate gold on other metals mostly copper and bronze how let me know

Nice, I never know that, that old man is genius, he is the one behind the evolution, lithium batteries, and rams that remarkable, and it makes sense he is the one behind those inventions, because they both connected in way people don't notice, rams they have a direct effect on the battery usage for most devices.

The suppression of technology and medicine is nothing new.
And the lengths that the suppressors will go to keep their secrets is nothing new.
People die to keep those secrets. That's nothing new.
Pharmaceutical companies, are notorious for killing to keep the truth covered up. That's not new either.
This world is, of lies and darkness. Even speaking truth can be crime .
And I thought that I needed to shave this morning!
We are in the last 2 minutes of the 11th hour .

    Hold up, 'differently abled people'?
The hell does that mean? I'm assuming that means disabled because of the accompanying footage...but who decided to make up an asinine term like 'differently abled'?
Is it out of some misguided attempt to spare their feelings or some shit?
Is this the same mentality where instead of calling me 'black' some hippie American would call me a 'person of colour'? As if they are some colourless motherfuckers or something? Are you a 'person without colour'?
    This is retarded.

"Death of the internal combustion engine": There's still more of a people/culture barrier unless charge times can match the 5-10 minutes it takes to fill a gas tank. A little forethought and planning could remove the issue, but people will always see the worst-case scenario. "What if I'm driving cross-country? I don't want to have to stop for 30 minutes just to charge." Of course you could just charge up when you stop for lunch, and that should get you enough range to get through a normal day of driving, but "what if I'm just going through the drive through and only stopping for bathroom breaks?" So until we can fully charge in the same time it takes to fill a gas tank, the internal combustion engine will never be truly dead.

    • Vince Earl
      Vince Earl 2 days ago

@Stefan Chiritescu Exactly. The people who dont own EVs. In other words, those who drive cars with internal combustion engines.

    • Stefan Chiritescu
Stefan Chiritescu 2 days ago +1

EV range anxiety is mostly believed by people who don't own an EV. Having to stop and charge can be a great safety feature, since driving cross-country without stopping was never a good idea. Plus...charging at home and having a full "tank" every morning...can't beat that. ICE vs EM in terms of efficiency, packaging and power can't even compare! The EM in the first EV (1899ish) was more efficient than a 2019 ICE.
