When I was six, watching Streets of San Francisco, i turned to my mother and asked, "Mommy, is he cute?" I was pretty sure that when I was grown up, I would think Michael Douglas was cute. But I wasn't a grown up lady yet, I didn't know what grown up ladies liked. she assured me that yes, he was cute. From that point on, I decided that my parents were going to buy a house on one of those streets of San Francisco, wherever that was.

I am surprised Michael got his star. All of his movies are some sort of
critic of establishment and Falling Down is my favorite. Network from
1976 and Falling Down are 2 best movies ever made.
Even if we look at work of Kirk Douglas we will find support for little guy.I don't know anything about private life of family but their work in Hollywood supported society changes and lifted up problems that lots of powerful people didn't like. I hope "Spartacus" live as long as he wish.

    Important information regarding Stephen Colbert.
Beside the fact he is a noxious little GIT....with one wonky ear.
Although Colbert PURPORTS to be a Catholic.....he is ACTUALLY a Marrano.....which essentially means Colbert is a jew who masquerades as a Catholic (Google the word along with "crypto jew",Converso's and New Christians)
Almost ALL Colbert guests are crypto Jews.
Crypto Jews were first identified and documented in 14th Century Spain.....so they have a long history of deception.
ALMOST All the big time talk show hosts are Jews....Colbert actually looks like a jew he also has an.infuriating habit of buttoning his jacket....then unbuttoning it in quick succession.Colbert fits the description perfectly...."a garralouse light weight Prick".

I use to LOVE going to ONE of, if NOT the LAST, Gas Station offering FULL SERVICE or SELF-SERVE option at the Gas Pump.... The guys were always in a friendly mood, and check your fluids and cleaned your windows.. You always knew when you needed oil changed, wiper fluid or anything else.. Like air in my tires, or when needed air Everytime they'd check for leaks!! And they never overcharged!!! They were hard-working honest group of guys. They're give me options like a plug and how long would last, used or new tires. Plus reminded me to rotate tires when needed, but would wait and do it when I was getting oil changed or something. So not just always trying to charge me!! Shot that's back when BUSINESSES HAD THAT DOWN HOME FAMILY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Which NO LONGER EXISTS.... OH HOW I MISS THAT SMALL TOWN COMMON SENSE when dealing with management with an issue that you felt needed to be addressed and took the time to bring to there attention!!! Yet they treat you like a fool trying to get something free, even though you clarify that's not the case and they treat you with a level of rudeness in front of the employees, therefore TEACHING THEM SUCH IGNORANT BEHAVIOR IS ACCEPTABLE, TOLERABLE, ALLOWABLE, JUSTIFIABLE AND DEFENSIBLE !!!! I PRAY THIS NON-SENSE COMES TO A END, VERY SOON, NEAR YOU!!! AND ME!!!! LOLOLOL

**HOLY SHIT!** If I didn't know better, I would swear that this was 'KIRK' on the 'Tonight Show' from the '70's!** ( I bet Michael gets tired of that shit...he must look at photos and say "SHIT! I look and sound exactly like my dad did 30-yearsago...did I get all those roles because of this face...all these years...was I just a 'Doppelganger' all this time? Just a younger 'Kirk?") **Nah...'Dad' would've never done "Romancing the Stone"...he never felt all that comfortable doing 'romance comedies' and 'meet cute' stuff...he knew people wouldn't like him in those roles...they always want different versions of 'Spartacus'from him..."Lonely Are The Brave" didn't do all that well at the box-office, and it was one of his 'best roles ever' and he loved that movie! But if I had done it, it would've bombed! No one would 'believe me' in that role...so I guess 'one thing cancels-out the other thing' in movies...I've done roles Dad would never 'get away with'...and I could never have been 'Spartacus' or the 'lone cowboy that just doesn't fit anymore' or played a 'tortured artist' the way Dad did...I'm more of a 'Movie Star' but Dad's the real 'Actor' in the family...he had to fight for everything when he was a kid, and I never really wanted for anything my entire life...he knows what it's like to actually 'BE' all those people he's played because he really is 'The Ragman's Son'**

Connie Crawford 7 months ago +3

Deborah Freedman I agree - I never said Michael. Douglas changed his name but Kirk did so when Michael Douglas of Pittsburgh wanted to join the union, the name was already taken. I was not blaming anyone esp. Michael. Michael Keaton's son Sean 's name is Sean Douglas because the Douglas family still has many members well-known in Pittsburgh. Whoever registers the name first in SAG gets the name.

    • Deborah Freedman
Deborah Freedman 7 months ago +3

Michael Douglas didn't change his name. His father Kirk Douglas began life as Issur Danielovitch. Kirk was born in American to a Jewish family who immigrated from Belarus (not Russia). So Michael Douglas was really Michael Douglas, as that was the name he was given by his parents.
