My Top 2 live action/animated hybrid movies in my opinion are Mary Poppins and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I don't think there's any other live action/animated hybrid film that can top off any of these two, mainly Roger Rabbit, in my opinion.

Speaking of live-action mixed with animation, I remember seeing a bit of a film a while ago where an animator and his wife find the selves in a Tom & Jerry-esque cartoon. Does anyone else remember?

This reminds me of a movie, its about an american couple who was visiting japan. The only thing I remember clearly was there are some anime scenes. Like when the protagonist (guy) was about to fight a sumo, the scene change into anime. And there is one scene where the girl was in a public bathroom and some monkeys popped out. If anyone knows this movie please tell.

#1 was all too expected! Roger Rabbit by far is the best cartoon/live action movie!!!
But I'm going to disagree on one point. In my opinion, #9 and #10 are switched. In fact, James and the Giant Peach is much higher on my list than Spongebob. As much as I loved Spongebob when I was little, I appreciate him and the show less and less as I get older. All the new episodes are stupid, and although the mentioned movie was one of the older and better Spongebob adventures, I am seeing Spongebob as a character more and more through Squidward's eyes. Be honest, people, would you want somebody like Spongebob to be your neighbor? And no amount of good or even great animation can save the strangeness (in the bad way) of the newer episodes.
To argue my other point, James and the Giant Peach is nothing but a CLASSIC. One of the most notable stop-motion movies alongside Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, James and the Giant Peach is my favorite out of the three. It scared me when I was little and at night when I dreamed I was often put in James' shoes for the climax. But that never hindered my positive view on the movie; even when it scared me, I still loved it and the unique style to no end. Even now, I adore watching its animation, and still being the tiniest bit creeped out by the rhino and killer shark machine.

To sum it up, the Spongebob movie in my opinion is #10, and James and the Giant Peach is no doubt in my top 5. (Roger Rabbit of course remains at #1). *And thanks to whoever is willing to spend their time reading this long comment to learn my opinion*
