@Private Listing Amazon prices are whack sometimes

    • Private Listing
      Private Listing 4 months ago

@hustlecoral vlogs Amazon is your local parts store with Prime. My wife kept getting me parts to the door when I was still shopping the locals and having to put in my zip code to even get a price. Michigan price = $ Now with all our fleet in the garage feature, from 300k miles Lexus LS to 3K miles Viper ACR, the parts are at the worldwide lowest price and ANYTHING can be returned. We returned an entire exhaust system because she did not like the sound of it.

Centereach is my home town.. LOL I bought my 1991 Blazer brand new from them, they are now a Hyundai Dealer.. I literally just started watching your channel . Have just picked up a 99 Tahoe 4dr. 230,000 miles for a thousand bucks.. no rust or rot any place. super clean. Thanks for doing what you do. Due to health issues I am on a super tight budget. You gave me some valuable tips on how I can actually get this old girl the way I want it, And ready for the beach. Keep doing your thing . If you build I will follow.

Not bad man. Pretty tough looking in black, reminds me of the 454 SS Silverado's. You should replace the rear bumper with a roll pan.

The 5.7 and the 5.3 were great motors. Still are to this day. Of course there’s a lot more computer to modern motors. I do like that you hit on the point in that they are super easy to work on. A simple RU-clip video answers most any questions. Anyone with a wrench and a pair of hands can wrench on this thing. They’re great motors to learn on.

Good find. I had 88 and 97 Chevy 1500s. One note, Geo was a collaboration of companies. GM imported rebadged Suzuki Swifts(Geo.Chevy Metro), Toyota Corollas(Geo/Chevy Prizm). The Chevrolet Aveo was a exported and rebadged Daewoo. We had a few Geo Prisms that were traditionally passed down to new drivers in the family. They held up through my 5 sisters, but i opted for a '63 Ford Falcon as my first car/project.

    Number 1 issue it’s a Chevy with 233k miles, it’s falling apart.

    • Calvin&Austin
      Calvin&Austin 4 months ago

Account and I’m sure you have actually owned several Chevys. So you can actually personally verify this. Or are you just judging something you have never even owned?

    • Account
      Account 4 months ago

Calvin&Austin yea but I have 2 cars rn a 02 ranger with 320k on the original engine, and a 03 bmw 545i with 230k with everything original. Chevys are built like shit, the cars themselves are falling apart. This truck is a lucky one where it’s in decent shape... but chevys aren’t the worst. Jeeps are.

    • Calvin&Austin
      Calvin&Austin 4 months ago

Hmm as a mechanic I beg to differ. Chevy has their bad moments but they overall are great. I have had 2 motors over 250k miles and still going. Many others can say the same. Hell Ik people who boost 250k+ motors all the time no problem.

  • DRT71
    DRT71 4 months ago

19:15 - as with all IFS, leveling the front end by adjusting the torsion bars will limit the down stroke of the suspension, resulting in a harsh ride and uneven tire wear.
