I would love to see a young Peyton Manning play with an offense like Kliff Kingsbury or Lincoln Riley. He would probably throw 6000 yards 60 touchdowns and only a few interceptions. While completing 80%. Today's game favors the quarterbacks big time. I would love to see Brett Favre in today's system

This was more proof that Jon Gruden won the 2002 Superbowl riding on the coat-tails of Tony Dungy's Bucs, which he coached from 1996-2001. Tony Dungy was an amazing coach and very underrated.

    • Troy Pollonais
      Troy Pollonais 17 days ago

Even though this is a known fact. I don't think this specific game is an example of more proof. Especially considering all of the eventual Hall of Famers on the colts roster. If there was an IQ test for the NFL and football as a whole, Peyton Manning can be argued as having an Albert Einstein/Stephen Hawking level intelligence. Furthermore, there was at least 1 incorrect call from the officiating crew on the 2nd to last play of the game that setup the game winning field goal. The unsportsmanlike conduct call against Simeon Rice was clearly a bad call. Tony Dungy is one of the great minds of football and will be a hall of fame coach, but let's not be too partisan to not give Jon Gruden his deserved credit for at least being a decent NFL coach.

@Rogelio Mora They always count from the end of the first drive when they say "Three TD's (21 points) in 4 minutes." That would be like saying they scored the first TD in 10 seconds. They never include the potentially 3 to 7 minutes it took for the first drive to occur. Understand?
