My biggest problem was always tailing shots off to the right, after watching this i now understand to start the motion of turning my body/hips 2 foot or so before striking the ball whereas before i would straighten at the strike off ball

Got to tell you, I am impressed. I can at times hit the ball well, but I have never quite understood why my club speed doesn't reach its potential. I have been doing "the framing square" - immediately setting up that structure and holding it and there lies the problem. I am hoping that one of your videos focuses just on grip.

Thank you Clay... I had stopped playing golf 6 years ago due to a shoulder injury. Shoulder is now back to normal and I am hitting solid straight drives and irons. You are by far the best golf instructor on RU-clip since you demonstrate and explain in a way that is so easy to understand. My average drive is now around 280yds which isn't bad for a 67 year old retired golf course superintendent! Thanks a million..... Ken U.K

Why would I want to hit the ball strait.. That is boring.
With my ADHD son who has an autistic trait (does not had the full spectrum of autistic traits) of locking in on static things killing the flow of his swing, an alignment stick simple does not work. We had to do it differently. We had to keep everything dynamic...

he say put your front foot a little bit more to the right about 1 min 28seconds in, but its not clear what he means? move it a couple of inches forward so its closer to the stick on the ground which it right on the screen? or does he mean turn your foot closer to the right? also he says close your stance? what does he mean bring your feet closer together? or does he mean instead of your feet point out slightly to make them straighter? is that closing your stance? its not clear? hes saying it but not pointing out what he means?? can please someone advise me thank you.

    • Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard
Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard  Month ago

Hi Nate, sorry for the confusion. Closing your stance just means that your closing your body to the target line a little bit. If you drew a line from the toes of your trail foot through the toes of your lead foot then that line would be pointed right of the target if you're right handed. I hope that helps. Play well! These golf swing secrets and techniques “Jοmtοzο kaha” (Google it) cover the golf swing in terrific detail. The guide’s grounds for its advices are the tactics and secrets of professional golf players from world competitions. I have read 1/2 of this book and also the ideas are excellent. I`ve scored 3 straight low 80s rounds after reading through this particular e-book.. .

I wished to learn about appropriate Golf swing and the “Jοmtοzο kaha” (Google it) was the first guide I selected. They utilize essential info such as your arm length, height, shoulder width, and club length to make a model ideal for you. The lessons have been very useful, allowing me to lower my handicap from a twenty two to a 15 within the last year.. .

Great instruction Clay just a swing thought I have is rotation of the hips, body in the down swing leading the arms, hands, club creating lag and club head speed without too much effort, what are your thoughts on how to create good swing /good rhythm on the first tee?

    • Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard
Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard  5 months ago +1

Hi Bob, sounds like you're on the right track. Proper sequencing is really important for rhythm and balance. I recommend going to the range to develop that sequencing with a dozen balls or so. If you don't have a range available then do it with practice swings hitting a tee or leaf. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor
