node 202 is $60, $40 when on sale. and it's very close in dimensions. this case is 340x310x66mm where as node 202 is 377x330x82mm. you lose about 1 inch on L and W, 2/3 of an inch on thickness. you have to be fucking crazy to pay $260 for this. i built a fully water cooled 9700K and RTX 2080 system in my node 202. complete with a DDC pump, EK CPU block and alphacool GPU block, 240mm rad, etc.

re: the m.2 spreader: Is it perhaps more of a heat-shield than a heat sink? I.e the metal plate takes in as much of the heat from surrounding components as it can & uses an insulating pad to shield the sensitive components from excess heat, particularly on this board, given how close the drive would be to any residual heat from the CPU cooler?
Just an initial thought, not saying its the case I'm just wondering out loud...

WOnder why the years jump in those generation naming. I thought Millennials whre from around 2k. I jsut read that Baby boomers was just 10 year period, then 2 times 14 year period. and last Gen Z is 20 suddenly?! Makes no sense at why they name them. They say its about aging in groups instead of years orso... quite vague actually

Vandal resistant Pushbuttons are meant to be resistant to prying and impacts. Panel builders and OEMs who install equipment used by common memebers of the public or in cases like correctional facilities use the regularly. They are also a nicer feel pushbutton. The old Plastic styles feel horrible to use. The mechanisms usually suck. And if you accidentaly drop one youll be buying replacements. Vandal Resistant FTW

To talk about the laptop cooling it might be possible with a liquid gel pack similar to the ones used on strains and so. Having that in a stiff frame with the laptop placed on the formable cooling "pillow" might do the job... Then I know there is the issue on cooling the gel and so...

so linus says: guys don't read the Manual and start trying like a butcher. especially if you are dump enough to try to screw the mains plug from inside. this video was a real waste of time. you may know much but seems it's only theoretical. I am really wondering what the purpose of this video was.
you should also experience some aerodinamics so you would have realized that installing the cpu cooler by 90 degrees would support airflow.

(I am sick of buying PCs/Laptops that become second rate and junky after 2-3 years and don't want to buy some overlocked beast to try and stay ahead of the curve!). Bump for justice?

It's easy playing with recoil just pull the mouse down as you shoot. And don't stand still you have to move side to side or shoot then go back behind the wall quick you don't want to just stand there as a stationary target while you are shooting at somebody. Some people are so terrible at aiming that just barely moving side to side is enough to make them not be able to hit you. Also I don't know if I'm going crazy but I see some delay between when you move the mouse and when your character's aim moves on the screen. That would be unplayable like that for me.
