I love my 2018 Electra Glide Ultra Limited .Corporate HD has gotten way to big and has lost touch with the consumer and the market. Indian on the other hand has got there game on so HD better wake up. I'm thinking about next year trading up for a Indian.I'm not happy with Harley's customer service...

19 year Army combat & service veteran here. For my 20 year retirement, I'm going to buy an Indian Scout. In the meantime, I have set up a RU-clip channel and will try to save money to throw down on a bike. Indian Motorcycle of Oklahoma City is the dealer of choice for this guy. Keep the rubber planted down and Scooter leading the way. Lol

Adam I’m a new subscriber here and I love your content! I’ve been on Honda’s since I started riding and just yesterday I switched over to an Indian chieftain limited. I’ve ridden many brands and styles over the years and ultimately I fell in love with the Indian motorcycle in 2016 when I first rented one! I agree with you on being a motorcyclist first! But to be honest I’ve never felt certain brand riders respect you if you don’t ride what they ride, and that is kind of unfortunate. Even to the point of refusing service on a potentially life threatening tire issue where they wouldn’t work on a “competitors” brand! But...all that aside, Love your new ride and hope for many safe miles to come!

Nice bike Adam. I too bought a 2018 Indian Springfield Darkhorse after my Victory Highball was totaled in a hailstorm. It was a blessing in disguise because my wife's 2x great uncle was George Hendee. How cool is that!? So, it was a no brainer for me to buy an Indian. I wonder if I could've gotten a family discount now that I think of it.....or maybe a discount on some pipes I've been wanting..... oh well..

I gotta say, as much as the scouts look like they couldn't take a larger rider, they definitely can. I'm 6' and 300lbs and every scout I've ridden has been smooth as hell. I crush sporties when I'm on them, so I gotta give kudos to Indian for making a mid size bike that can be enjoyed by a lot of different riders.
    Edit: spelling

Brother, if your responsible for helping my business sell 6, 12, 24 or 100 bikes a year, then I am going to sponsor you regardless of how many mikes you ride! My wife and I went out Annapolis Indian and rode everything they had. Loved em all! Even though she was amped up for a new bike with all the bells and buzzers, I just couldn't justify owning a third big twin when I knew her car was getting long in the tooth. In the end, she ended up with a new Q70 and I still got both of my bikes.
BTW, I'm a US army infantry vet. 75-79, been riding something with two wheels and a motor for almost 50 yrs. I also ride with Rolling Thunder for the last 20 yrs in DC. For the first 15, I provided escort seats for America's Gold Star Family members on memorial day in DC.

Harley has screwed over a lot of people and it is good to see they have some real competition. I have road Harley's since 1976 I do not love them it is just a chose I have made. don't pussy foot around if you are going to do it do it.

I'm gonna tell you the pricing of Indian is a bit more realistic. And some of their bikes off the line sound more throaty and have soma bad ass styling . If they only could better integrate fairing ,lights, gps. I think style on those type of bikes harley has the upper hand ,again pricing indian.

Some viewers in the Smoak vlog said this Indian dealer is #1 in the country. They said the owner is 100% about his customers and sometimes drives himself to meet customers who ran out of gas. Not sure if this is all bunk but it sounds cool. I'm a disabled vet who was stationed in OKC. I've been too sick to ride so I sold my bike. When I get better, I'd love to own an Indian, it's tough on a VA disability though.

  • Robert Matetich

Congrats, Adam. It's about time someone in the cruiser media community discovered Indian. I rented one in 2015 and loved it. The first thing you mentioned when you mounted the bike is the biggest thing for me: the ergonomics are right. I could ride the Roadmaster without modifications right out of the showroom. But just to ride my Road King I needed to change the seat and the brake pedal. With Indian, everything is right from the factory complete with remote locking bags!
The guys in the "exclusively Harley" community are really missing out.
Oh, and did I mention that engine? As powerful as an M8 but smoother, and it runs on regular fuel.

Great video, I ride a Street Glide and lately I've been thinking about trading in my bike. I went and test rode an Indian Chieftan, I have to say I was Impressed. I'm still riding the Street Glide but I can understand while some would make the switch. I'm a tall guy and I rode a 2018 and I was a little cramped but, the 2019s suppose to give you a little more room. I've sat on one but I haven't test rode a 2019 yet. Check out my video where I test ride the 2018 Cheiftan and where I talk with an Indian Chieftain Owner who shares his thoughts. Have a blessed day.

Sweet!! My husband was so excited when he saw this. We go to the Redlands Ca Indian dealership a little to much. So much the guys know us. Especially Robert 🤣😂 an Indian is a dream for my husband one we can tour together. He has Kawasaki Vulcan S now and we ride around small trips but my health isn’t great and he’s a LEO 👮🏻 and puts all his time and energy into me. He’s gone to every Drs appt all through the last 3 years of cancer and I just got the all clear but I still suffer from other auto immune issues so buying an Indian one day will be a great day and a huge dream for us. I can’t wait!!! Those Indian guys are great. Robert has taken us for a test ride of the Goldwing and Yamaha and always tells us to test drive the Indian but my husband always comes out for the big Indian ride days cause he hates wasting the sales guys times cause we can’t buy one at the moment. We’ve been married for 24 yrs and we have 4 sons and he’s been a LEO for almost 20 yrs and I can’t wait till one day we can walk in there and I say Babe here’s the day you’ve been waiting for. Your new Indian motor. He will be so excited. I think I’ll be more excited then him cause I’ll actually be able to ride with him to the beach and long rides up and down the mountains without constantly telling him I need to move or shift around. One day Bill and I will be riding an Indian and until then we will be living through you 🤣😂🤣😂🤣. Ride safe man 💙
