Playing sports in high school was the best decision I made at the time. I moved around a bit, so I was always starting over. Trying to fit in somewhere new, trying to make friends, would become a hassle. Then I played football. Next thing I knew, I had friends, brothers, and my coaches were like mentors. It gave me something that walking from class to class never even hinted at.
You don't have to have been a jock your whole life. Your teammates will respect you for being out there with them. If your alone or maybe having a hard time fitting in, try out for a team.
That's awesome!! Our wrestling coach was fuckin amazing and we got him a Detroit Redwing Jersey signed by a few players. and it made him weep for days lol
