Okay, Jake Lloyd never even had a career to begin with, and neither did Elizabeth Berkley really. So they don't qualify. And I think becoming a Quadriplegic killed Christopher Reeve's career more than Superman 4. Never really saw Caviezel in anything either. But then again, how do you top playing Jesus Christ?

His career got destroyed by playing Jesus Christ? Like, that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, why tf would it matter if he played Jesus Christ, he played that role better than excellent, that is one of my favorite movies, all those lil bitches out there that don’t like that movie because it’s too bloody, like grow some balls, that’s the reality so stop bein a child. That is so fucking sad that it hurt his career just because he played jesus, like I don’t understand why that matters, his acting chops in that role are beyond insanely good, his acting really put you in the moment, you felt like you were there, and you felt what raw pain and struggle Jesus went through. Passion of the Christ is one of the best movies ever put to film, wether your Christian or not.

OK yes all those movies sucked but why does a bad movie ruin a career. They are actors, not writers. Well Myers wrote The Love Guru. Actors act and get paid. Just because they were in a bad movie does it mean they are back actors. Well if they are the only one who would do the movie maybe they know they are not good actors. Should Chris O'Donnell have turned down "Batman & Robin" because of the nipples and the movie sucked. Yes a movie sucks but it's a paycheck. Is an actor supposed to wait for a good script. If you need the money and want a job you take what you can get and do your best.

I once watched The Postman with my dad and it took us probably five hours to watch it since he paused it every couple minutes to tell very long stories about things that went on behind the scenes. (My dad worked in the movies building sets and props, so he's seen some pretty hilariously outrageous things.)

  • Vox Quod

Um, Costner has done lots of films since Waterworld and The Postman. Reeves career ended because of a horrible accident that crippled him. Chris O’Donnell was never talented. And why did you show Ben Affleck at the beginning? He was never mentioned and his career is healthy. You guys really need to work on your research and editing skills.

    10. Wha? My mom loves this movie.
    9. Dang, Jim Caviezel went through a LOT to play Jesus.
    8. “Cod pieces.” 😂😂😂
    7. Well, there IS Life of Pi, so...his career is revived?
    6. I did NOT know that was Brandon Routh in Scott Pilgrim.
    5. I’m really surprised Kevin Costner’s on this list.
    4. Geena Davis?!
    3. And Cuba Gooding Jr.?! Update: He did play OJ Simpson.
    2. I know Saved by the Bell fans were STUNNED by her appearance in Showgirls.
    1. What else was Jake Lloyd in before Star Wars?

The Long Kiss Goodnight was actually a pretty enjoyable film. It’s just that at the time nobody went to see it in theaters. But the ones that did enjoyed it. It holds pretty well after all these years. But other than that Geena Davis has seen better days. Cuba was good in America Crime Story too but I believe this video was published before that show premiered.

Jake Lloyd was good in the movie
The problem was once he got it he couldn't do anything else for two years as it was part of his contract
Over that time he wound up out of the loop of casting and his physical appearance changed so if he wanted to keep acting he would have had to start from scratch and he wasn't that cute little boy anymore
