chirstina is one my favorite singers, I had no ego in highschool blazin her album full blast wit the windows down, never associated fighter wit a chick song, we jammed that senior year before football games in the locker room,
Women should just stay home and raise em children
Cindy lauper better be number 1
Yes, Fighter by Christina Aguilera #1... But i think Can't Hold Us Down with Lil' Kim also deserves to enter this list...

Why no BO$$ by 5th harmony?
Can’t believe that “I am Woman” only got an honorable mention.

Number 8. Roar - Katy Perry
Number 7. Express Yourself - Madonna
Number 6. Man! I feel Like a Woman! - Shania Twain
Number 5. Most Girls - Pink

There. I told you what you wanted to know in less than 7 seconds, saving all of you guys 14 minutes of padding that you can use to do something productive. Or at the very least, move on to the next video.
Fuck time wasting padding.
And Demi Lovato should have been at least a 4 on your list!
No born this way? Lady Gaga
#I will always love Shania Twain #Shaniatwainisstilltheone!
Fact:
The reason why. girl empowerment songs are made because everyday was mens day i mean like every type of things are always subdued by men and never give women chances History, In the 13BC Men are always in position being oresidents and bosses while women are housewives and takes care of childrens so thats why female empowerment songs are made , to symbolize that women can do it even in the harshest and darkest situation, That Girls never need men to toy with their feelings, That girls are the ones that empower society and That Girls are our everyday friends and our supporters that got our backs.
I am woman thats really the first isnt it? Or Hero? By Mariah Carey..
That Girls shit by Beyonce had so many cowriters it wasnt her own like her Destinys Child days when the group all wrote their own songs...
OMG I want Christina
Where the fuck is the feminist song
Queen xtina 💓💓
Cindy Lauper's Girls just wanna have fun....any who I going to listen to it now
It has 699 million views and didn't make the list Shame..Cersei's voice lol
I thought you guys where supposed to be independent now you rely on other women? Lol
you dont own me is a good one i listened to a lot when I was younger
To the women saying that guys criticizing this are "insecure about women taking control and empowering each other - I have a message. If you want women to really "take control" meaning pay for romantic dates, arranging everything, making the first move and being called stupid because you aren't able to "take a hint", allow men to be emotional which includes crying and screaming, allow men to hit women without women being allowed to hit back ... then by all means, we don't have a problem with this ... AT ALL. Take control - we'll be right behind you. What many men don't like, is the fact that many women like you don't want the responsibilities attached to what really means to "take control", and yet talk about girl power, which means wanting your cake and eating it too.
‘Salute’ by Little Mix should be on the top 3 of the list! 😤
Helen Reddy only honorable mention?! That was THE original Girl Power song!
Fighter!!!! 🥰🔥💯 💪🏻
Well.....how about an oldie but goodie: “Whatever Lola Wants....”
Love this order
Where is 'Making Your Dinners' by Women's Work?
She Works Hard For The Money by Donna Summer not on here and Shitnia Twain was? smh!!!
OK WHERE THE FUCK IS BIKINI KILL???
you done bumped yo damned head, list is a mixed p mess. our "honorable mention was better than most of your list. clean miss this time
Oh, and one more song that should have been here, is Amber An - Jump For The Girls. I don't care that it's a Chinese song. Whilst there isn't an English translation, both the video and few English lyrics showcase that it's about female empowerment. Like at the beginning, you see a large A being reflected in the sky (like the Batman logo). Then you see all these women go to a party that is for girls only. When a fat girl falls, she is helped back on her feet by the singer, where as other women are trying not to laugh. It's message definitely seems to be 'Women help each other. Let's be strong, and celebrate together.''
This list is fake news without Pat Benatar.
What the fuck is with these song choices? Girl On Fire is practically the Mary Sue anthem, all about being perfect and strong without doing actual shit.
Or Roar, by Katy Perry. That song is so fucking underwhelming, and Katy Perry always gives that vibe that she's lacking to actually understand the topics she sings about.
Like half of this list has me shaking my head for 'NO'.
Perhaps other women can find empowerment like that, but this woman can't.
Try FEMM with songs like Up Up& Away, they literally sing, 'Don't need Superman, it's Wonder Woman.' It's about finding strength yourself, and not letting anyone else get you down. They have released various songs about female empowerment from Fxxk Boys Get Money, to Dead Wrong and Kill The DJ.
If you don't like EDM centered pop, then try for Superchick. They have some great songs, Anthem and Me Against The World. They have released various songs about difficult topics, from anorexia, to self-harm & suicide.
Or if you like K-POP, HyunA. You know, the Gangnam Style girl? She 's the unofficial mother of K-POP's bitch anthems, and is quite often slut-shamed because of it. Her song Lip & Hip is about female puberty and embracing your inner sexual desires that you discovered.
More older classics like Whitney Houston's I'm Every Woman and such would do too, though I am not going in depth because many others in the comment section already went into depth about classics.
Rename the tite: top 20 powerful women songs
Okay I know someone listed the songs by time... where is it? Lol
I keep wondering do woman wanna be lesbian
Shut the fuck up Hater How should I know
Update this !!
Men: Starting hate groups as response to women enjoying more freedom.
Women: Just going their own way, doing their own thing, empowering themselves in POSITIVE ways unlike the male means of empowerement that usually ends in victims.
GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
You Oughta Know - Alanis Morissette. #1.
“Do not objectify the fairer sex” ...wut.
Hiw about Helen Reddy. I AM WOMAN
Come on. It seems corny now, but "I am Woman," was THE ultimate girl power song, long before must of these girls were even born. And "Respect" should be #1 or 2.
I AM WOMAN.......# 1 ALL THE WAY
A good number of these are only empowering in relation to relationships with men. Missed the mark.
Someone should make another New Updated video with the Top 40 Women's Empowerment songs, 3 of which I know are; Anything is Possible by Fifth Harmony, Wings by Little Mix and Girls by L2M!
Women belong on the kitchen
Piss off a feminazi GET THIS COMM TO TOP
Samy Sevraj I can’t cook
Miss Independent is about a woman who gives up her independence to “fall in love.” Kind of the opposite of female empowerment! Dumbass mojo!
Where is Alanis Morasett? Remember Jagged Little Pill album??
Man, I wish they could have mentioned Jill Scott’s “Golden”, because it makes us just sing along.
I am sorry but Helen Reddy's I am Woman, should have been #1. It's message is important mostly because it was an in your face to the men of the time...A woman who managed to claw her way into a world dominated by men was questioned as to how she got there...the term sleeping her way to the top was the only way a woman could get a job in the good ole boys club...It was a different world then and she said it. "I am woman, watch me roar, in numbers to big to ignore, and I know too much to go back and pretend. It was a never give up, never quit. We aren't there yet but we have come a long way. Men are running scared and crying because so many top jobs go to women...they still don't get that it just might be intelligence and talent that got them there....more women go to college now than men...they can't blame that on anything but dedication and drive to be more...
Aretha, Christina, Helen Reddy. Top three for me.
I’m a survivor by Destiny’s Child??
Has no one ever listened to Linda Ronstadt in You’re No Good?
What about American girl by Carrie Underwood
I LOVE WANNABE AND ROAR!!!
Really, the Spice Girls, but not The Donnas for "Get Behind Me"?
Oops, been a little while - FALL Behing Me.
Christina deserved it!
Her songs (especially fighter) make me feel proud that IM A WOMAN!
But Roar is a boring song and not feminine! And Fighter is thanking somebody for a bad treatment, not empowering I think at all!
Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves, though it was as Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin, the vocals are all Annie Lennox and Aretha.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
These Boots Were Made For Walking - Nancy Sinatra
Janis Joplin is not in your list really I mean really.
Sarah Bareilles - “King of Anything”
How can you have a list like this and not have Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!'
Your myopia and short-sightedness, and perhaps your youth, underestimates the power of Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman" when it arrived on the scene. As the feminist movement was getting its traction, "I Am Woman" was its anthem. You wouldn't even be making these videos if it wasn't for that time in history.
So where is Adele?!
They should’ve featured unpretty
Apparently, girl power means dressing sexy and singing about nothing, such as "men hurt, short skirts." Get empowered then, girls!
Just so you know, Mojo, Respect was written by Otis Redding and is about respecting your significant other - it has nothing to do with gender.
Most of thes empowering songs involve half dressed singers shaking their ass.
God, I usually like these watchmojo lists but this is the most pitiful list I’ve ever seen... how about You Don’t Own Me by Lesley Gore? Just a Girl by No Doubt? Bad Reputation by Joan Jett? Literally any song by Hole? Even some lesser known ones like Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill or Typical Girls by the Slits or Oh Bondage Up Yours by X Ray Specs deserve to be on this list... I agree with Madonna, Beyoncé, and Aretha but some of the other songs really don’t deserve to be on here
All garbage
Madonna´s "Express yourself is the best regarding lyrics... Period!!!!
We need an updated version to include Power by Little Mix.
No Janice Joplin? R U Kidding me?
I would have put 99% of everything I owned on Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun being #1 I am shocked that it wasnt
I am Woman should be Number #1 - It unofficially started the GP Movement.
I thought it would be cyndi Lauper Girls Just Want To Have Fun, but I'm satisfied with Cristina that was her best cd.
Lita Ford Kids Me Deadly
Sounds like just another sexy song, till you actually listen to the lyrics
ru-clip.com/video/kit3ogra3lo/видео.html
I'm going to act like one of those feminist whiners and report this video as UNEQUAL PRESENTATION!!!!
The person making the list is going, "Oh yea, I will survive. Forgot that one".
They need a new list with"Fall In line." by Demi and Christina A. at the top.
YALL THEY CANT PUT IN *EVERY* SONG
_C H I L L_
At least these aren’t hating men like 95% of feminists
These are what they take from the songs. If you take something else from them, fine, but they made the video
Perry!! For real!! I mean there are so many female power singers much better than this bitch, lol!
