- This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. The language of Play is a language that we all spoke fluently in childhood. By the time we become adults, most of us have forgotten the language of play. Matt uses play and joy to open people up, allowing them to be creative and impactful - even in places one might expect play to be the last thing on a person's mind. His analogy is that we should be so lucky as to work like our dogs. Enjoy this creative fun-filled romp through airports, dog parks and even prison.

Great! Now, my therapist says to "Have fun, you're too serious about everything!" Exactly what the hell does she mean by that? Now I have to do research into fun, what does it mean to have fun?, when is the best time to have fun?, the origins of fun, how humans evolved to have fun, do other animals have fun?, how to recognize when people are having fun, how to recognize when people are having fun at your expense, why have fun?, where should I have fun?, who are the people that are having fun? and a thousand other things.
Like I have time for this shit.

Best Ted Talk I’ve ever seen.
I want to know how to be the guy who brings the fun. Not the guy who sees someone else and follows but the person who leads and everyone else follows. How do I get into a state of mind that allows that?
I like to have fun but nobody wants to have fun with me, well sometimes
The thing is when others are not having fun, you woun't have fun. I had a small friend group and one of the closest friend of him, now doesn't like me anymore because he has found a "better" friend than me. I used to help him out with his missing assignments and would occassionally hop on call. But well, I don't know what happened. I rarely ever tell someone to shut up, and would try to treat everyone equally. So because of that, I've tried to act the same way I do, but trust myself, and accept my pain.
