I've had the red copper and wouldn't recommend it! Scratches right away and even warped!😤 Didn't have it for very long.

The woman used a hot pad to remove the red copper skillet off the stove too, so both Blue diamond and red copper handles get hot.

Buy cast iron. It will last a lifetime

    • American Street
      American Street Month ago

shoyru166166 I’ve been using and eating off cast iron since the 1940s. You have to season them about 6 coats there are plenty of videos showing how. Try cooking bacon on the cast iron a few times it will help. It’s not as non stick as copper or Teflon but close when season and broken in and is much healthier and flavorful to cook.

my cast iron pans cant cook anything without it sticking and having to be painstakingly scraped off no matter how often i season them! they sit in my cupboard unused as i use my copper pan

We had a red copper-like pan. It scratched. *Fast.*

It was a gotham steel. Do not use that one. Use the red copper instead. That one seems to work much better than the Gotham steel ever did.

10 bucks? are you fucking kidding me? the red copper costs 300 BRL here in brazil, and the knockoff costs 100, that's 71 and 21 bucks respectively in rough conversion, and believe me, 300 is a lot here, holy shit...

From my exp with newer non stick(non teflon stuff since 10-20ish years ago), never put in dishwasher never use metal in them, why you ask? They start chipping in less than a year(since wear takes some time its not an over night thing, a small stream of water cuts though mountains given enough time after all), even half of them in 2-3 years you may get a chip, but mainly I get more warping. Also one thing I learned quickly is never sue to much heat, searing is tricky and you can easily burn things harder than the non stick surface onto it.

A good video but any non-stick pan I’ve bought in the past works great about 10 times then no matter what you do the non-stick is total stick everything sticks so I’d like to see it after you used it for about 3 or 4 months or more

Majority of the time the products starts to fail within a few weeks/months and I am not abusing it by using hard utensils, just my rubber and plastic utensils because I want it to last. I especially need a pancake skillet and a large wok with the lid because these two pans seem to stop working in no time. Again , I am treating it both with kit gloves but the pancakes start sticking and the wok pan starts peeling or chipping.
