I love Priti Patel she’s smart, articulate and just on it. Shelia I think is very hostile towards her, a bit of jealousy I think.

This was the best night of my life. I wasn’t alive when Thatcher stormed to power so missed out on that glory but when I saw a conservative majority I was sat next to my husband and I jumped out of my seat. It was beautiful. Labour will never be in power again. 🥳

The result that broke my heart was Yvette Cooper keeping her seat because of the Brexitparty diluting the Conservatives vote, I was pigsick. I was wondering how the BBC was going to employ her AND her husband.

Eventually the Remoaning worked out even better for the UK. Corbyn could have voted for May's deal. Thanks to Bercow and the other Remoaners, who paralysed parliament, a GE was needed. With this new majority Boris and the ERG can have their no-deal Brexit!

I find it laughable that the Labour party blame everyone else but themselves they say they don't won't to go back to Blair who won 3 terms with centrist policies!!! We are probably going to have a conservative parliament for 20 years 2010 till 2029 possibly!! Labour needs major changes e.g. keir starmer

Had a chat with some mates about these political parties and we came to agree on the following.
The Cons: Will do anything to stay in power.
Labour: Will try to do anything to get into power.
Lib Dems: Will do anything to stay relevant.

    • Bill Coleman

I live in Moray, Scotland. Please don’t think that woman Sturgeon speaks for us. There are 5.4 million people in Scotland... less than 1.2million voted for SNP. That’s less than 22%. We decided already. Don’t listen to her she has no mandate.

    • WhyOWhy
      WhyOWhy 27 days ago +1

If she wants independence just give the English a voteX

    • C M Valim
      C M Valim 27 days ago +2

SteveL merry if you look at JUST the people who voted only, disregarding the 5.4 million. If you break up the votes you find almost an identical representation of the 2014 independence referendum. Over 55% of people voted for non independence parties. So, i would argue, there is absolutely no new evidence for another vote. They may have more seats than 2017, but that just indicates the spread of votes, not the overall popular vote.
