I think if they did It into a 2 part movie that it would make buckets of money

  • RogueBrit Gravy1

Your explanation as to why IT is there is interesting. I think it's what happens when you go to America to be a clown and try to hide your English accent with a new York accent in Maine.
    Do like the movie though.

the kid actor parts on this were actually really good. They had some of the better kid actors of that period in time. Same for the new IT-also really really great kid actors. The adult actor parts were a mess though

The actor that played older Bill starred in The Americans for most of the series and he was very good.

Jonathan Brandis was also in The Neverending Story II. And the guy who plays adult Bill was the star of The Waltons. And in that Stephen King story about the guy who was alive and about to get autopsied cuz they thought he was dead.

The first part of the original IT was great, the second part was WTF is this dog shit? The book was bad enough, killer clowns ok, spooky, scary, weird and freaky. The second part killer clown is an alien spider thingy with a big bright light bulb that was apparently supposed to be scary, really though where the f did this come from.
The new IT saw the first part, again very good and sufficiently scary, haven't seen part II yet but I hope they manage it better than the low budget deadline rushed TV restricted bull crap from the original but somehow I don't see it because the story itself in the closing stages is, well just bizarre, like Stephen King just went "I'm bored of this now erm, aliens coz they're popular atm, throw in an alien bright light and goo erm the end! "
Now can I go out to play?
