My main issue with these demonstrations is this question: "In nature, what is functioning as the 'tuning fork' electrode?" There ain't huge bars of metal hanging in the sky. We need more research on the role of atmospheric plasmas.
I will say, though, that those pillars pointing skyward scream "basalt columns." I've seen an example of this near Jeju, Korea, where an entire island's basalt column geology suddenly turns skyward (you can see the bend) and is abruptly sliced off clean at the top.

Also reminds me of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. I imagine the electrical field generator used to make things like Devil's tower is much larger than the one in US patent US 10,135,366 B2

Are you denying ALL impacts?
I reckon the material needed to create impact craters (chunks of earth) had to first be ripped from a large terrestrial body via electricity
They’ve been recorded on video, friend. All the major bolides entering our atmosphere show this effect. The exact reason they light up and explode prior to hitting the surface.
Regarding this video, however, much different situation than a simple bolide impact. The entire planet was engulfed in discharge. Just listen to any ancient story
Impacts have specific and demonstrable rim geology, namely that the geological layers should be folded back over themselves at the crater edge. An arc discharge crater, either from a subterranean or atmospheric discharge event, cuts clean through the geological layers with no folding.
I don’t think he or anyone else is denying an impact. Even impacts carry a differential charge causing a bolide to explode at or above surface level from dielectric breakdown. Are you denying the force of electricity playing an active role in geological formations?
