    🤔 the lomo saltado won’t mix like that. U just mix the meat, with all of vegetables but separate taste the rice. But never mix like that please.

    7:10 That isn't "yellow potato", it could be what we call "white potato" or some other variation of it. Yellow potato is usually very small, extremely starchy. I think the potato fries from the parrilla he had at Hornero were made from yellow potatoes.

    Well done Patricia, for taking Mike to Tio Mario. It's one of my favourites places to go to eat anticuchos & rachi/choncholi.
    The views of traditional Barranco are amazing, too. It's a plus for Tio Mario to be at this location.
    Mike, the juice in the lomo saltado, I know you called it "gravy", but it ain;t nothing close to it. Lomo Saltado is a fusion food that evolved from Chinese migrants late 19th century cooking their wok stir-fry with some Peruvian touch & ingredients. The juice is basically from some vinager, soy sauce, juice from the tomatoes & peppers cooking in the wok at high temperatures, and of course the juice that comes off the meat itself, as it cooks.

    BTW, to this date, 226 Vegans don't like your video. LMFAO Bahahahahahahahahahaa!!!

    Lomo Saltado is one of the most popular dishes of Peruvian cuisine, but mixing it all?!!! That's a no, no!! You mix the food as you eat it, you don't scramble the rice and other ingredients at once! Sorry young lady, but that is not the way Peruvians eat their delicious Lomo Saltado.

    Is Puru a safe place . The BBQ looked great. I'm disabled and 90% bed ridden, so the odds are not good i can do it. But this and your other food snippets are just as good. Keep it up

    This Asian fool thinks the assortments of meats is peruvian. It's mostly known as argentinian parrilla. But it's ultimately European in origin. So please, don't call this Peruvian as it is not.

      Peru has Parrilla also. And yes is Peruvian flavor, with Peruvian dressing style.
      Argentina parrilla is good also.

    Lomo saltado at Tanta. That is a dish created by chinese in Peru. It is sauteed in a wok and uses siyao, and sometimes kion.
