Hey, is this bike chain drive, or shaft drive? I would guess shaft drive would be ultra smooth?

Shadow is a perfect name for this moto. He keeps referring to the HD Sportster, it was in that shadow this moto was born. It is a really nice paint job. Buy a Sportster unless you just like clones.

At 3:15: Unfortunately, 50 years from now there will be no gasoline kids from that time can purchase to start the engine.
They might be able to purchase some synthetic gasoline special order from a laboratory. But that will require a lot of permits and fees to be shipped. They should ride the motorbike off-roads too. Going down the road with a vehicle that smokes, pops, and gurgles will have people turnings heads including the cops. They would have only know of such a vehicle from movies and what their grand parents told them. That's assuming the synthetic gasoline will run worth a damn in the engine made for a different era.

I was recently ran off the road on my 2005 Honda Shadow Aero VT750C. My insurance company totalled it because the cost of repainting the scratches on the steel tank was excessive compared to the local resale value. Other than the scratches, my Memphis windshield was destroyed and my engine guard took the brunt of the rest of damages. Absolutely no mechanical or electrical issues.
My intent is to make a bobber styled bike. Low and behold, you show this bike! I wish I had seen it a month ago, lol!

My first brand new bike was a 1978 Honda 750. Sold new for $1,600. Last year for adjustable rocker arms. No hassles of using shims to adjust valves as with the later ones.. It was a great bike for riding around town but I did go on one thousand mile trip with it. Bought an Interstate after the 750.

The best bike Honda ever made was the V-45 bar non. I used to run a motor cycle shop in Kent, Wash and I liked the V-45 the best for ride and shifting.

Riding the 750 RS reminds me of my first bike, a 67 Honda S90. Nearly the same riding posture; alert, focused, businesslike, but more of everything you ride a motorcycle for. This is a good one.

I dunno. You could make a similar argument for the Honda trail bike, because I do see a lot of guys using them as pit bikes, or photographers at race events using them to get around the track on the various roads and trails you have to use to get around someplace like, for instance, Laguna Seca or Sonoma.

If you think this is the best bike Honda has ever made then clearly you know very little about the history of Hondas motorcycles and frankly by the sound of things you know very little about motorcycles.

Subscribed because I too have an '11 RS. I bought mine with 1 mile on the clock. One question I have is how many did they make? The dealer I bought mine from said they made a thousand that year. Mine is 370. Anyways enjoy!

Simplicity in a motorcycle is a good thing. Easy to fix, reliable, dependable. Look at the Japanese bikes from the 60s and 70s for instance. The Honda CB450, 550, 750 four cylinder bikes from the early 70s....they can sit in a barn for 20 years and can be running in just a few hours (unless the engine is totally blown or what have you). On the Classic Octane channel, he posted a video of a 1965 CB77 Super Hawk that had been sitting for 20 years. Checked the oil, checked spark, squirted some fuel into the spark plug openings (carbs were gunked up and stuck)...and the bike started up like it had been started every day.
