It doesn't get better than this!
I listen to this every time I’m doing a really fast mountain bike speed run and it literally feels like it in the movie I’ve never felt much adrenaline and stuff. Mountain biking makes you experience weird but cool things
Who's here at the end of the decade still shedding tears?
Remember how Toothless straight up tries to ditch Hiccup after he though he could fly again all by himself?
the chills during this whole thing, especially at the first main part (yknow the part) and at 1:47 are unreal. i obsessed over this whole movie and soundtrack when i was 9-12 and now i’m 16 and i’m being reminded why i was so amazed by it. the nostalgia and beauty of it makes me emotional. i’m growing up but watching httyd will always bring me back and make me feel like i’m in my room after getting home from elementary school, blasting this in my headphones and pretending i’m a dragon, lol.
dude im playing this in my band class and im scared i might cry while playing it
01:47 one of my favorite film scenes of all time. I always get goosebumps at that moment
Pijpen draken elkaar ook?
TURN UP THE VOLUME PEOPLE TO REALLY JOIN THE RIDE!!! But be careful to not hurt your ears! God I love this movie! It's a masterpiece!!!! The brilliant soundtrack! The amazing animation that really makes us feel like we are on this amazing ride! This scene is just amazing! It's just sad that dragons doesn't exist so we can experience the amazing feeling to fly but eh..... This is good enough.
i love how the artificial tail wing still flaps showing its not perfect, and also how toothless eyes become narrow as there instincts kick in
Bruh we used this song for my marching band
God dammit I can't watch or hear anything about HTTYD without crying
0:36 I bet the director was like "Yo turn that stuff up"
toothless in the first movie looked the best.
We don't fucking deserve this kinda perfection.
9 Years Later And i'm Still Listening And Enjoying Every Moment Of This Scene
d으ㅏ 시바 백번을 봐도 감동적이노ㅜ
How to train your dragon:Step 1: Almost dieStep 2: Profit
I haven't seen the 3rd movie yet but the first 2 are amazing and visually stunning
2:19 if u look at Toothless he does the most cutest thing I love this movie so much😍😍😍😍
I love it when he tosses the cheat sheet and just trusts his instincts!
9 years later and this is still my favorite movies and scene.1:55Absolute trust
There's a super cool Sideways video where he talks about how this scene is the first time we hear both Hiccup's and Toothless' themes together at the same time, specifically when Hiccup drops the cheat sheet and goes with his instincts and they start flying as a cohesive, bonded unit.I cry every time I hear it.
Part of what made this movie is how expressive toothless is. You can practically put words to every expression he makes. From the "this is boring and my human is an idiotic infant" look while hiccup was celebrating gliding top the "Oh sh*t we are going to die" as they were approaching the foggy sea stacks. The animators really did a spectacular job on him, better than a lot of the more recent animal movies that's for sure. P.S throwing my hat in with the people celebrating the soundtrack, because it really is quite perfect.
The way that Hiccup and Toothless’ motifs come together to make this whole new score to show them becoming one is just... gorgeous
Chills. Literal chills.
Best film score of the whole decade. One of the biggest travesties in Oscar history was The Social Network winning best score over this film.
So much memories! 💕
This music is freaking amazing!😩
1:50 What y’all are here for
Fuck me, this score is good.
My mom : 1:59 me : 1:51
I won't lie... this made me smile a little bit 😅
I'm gonna miss you
1:55 Biggest goosebump moment in my entire life.
This scene is basically Pewdiepie using the Elytras for the first time
Best scene in any movie ever Change my mind
Always makes me smile and lifts my spirits this is such an underrated music score but it’s one of my top favourites ☺️
I remember seeing this movie/scene in theaters and thinking, "This might be the greatest thing I've ever seen or will see."
And kids... This is one example of how even adults can cry.
Oh what I wouldn't give to watch this scene in the cinema again~
Hayden and hiccup
So....... I’m crying cause in the span of one month I have watched these moviesHTTYD 1: 3-4 timesHTTYD 3: 3 timesHTTYD 3: 1 timeSo you can understand that once I saw this I cried... it just gets me every time, the the thrill of flying, joy and exhilaration!!!
This scene is beyond its time...nah fuck it, this movie is beyond it's time.I don't think enough people give enough credit to just how beautifully scored, directed, animated and written this movie is. This is a masterclass 101 on making not just a masterpiece animation but a masterpiece FILM
Hiccup said he didn’t need the cheat sheet and he’d bomb the exam with just his guts
Overrated disney always taking home the gold. fuck toy story and fuck big hero 6. who the fuck even talks about big hero 6 2019? no one, that's who.
Gobber: Who would've thought it, eh? he has this way with the beasts!you have no idea...
Man, the first time I saw this
1:56 I love the determined look on Hiccups face
I still get shivers listening too thsi after HTTYD3
That looked so fun
This is one scene i'll never not get chills from
Oh look, I'm crying.
Always use this video as a test to see if headphones and speakers are any good. The bass is incredible.
Simply Toothless 😍
I love how at the end, he just throws away his cheat sheet and does everything by instinct, as if he were born to ride a dragon.
Love it, love it love it!!
Okay...if I had to choose, Nine times out of Ten I would pick Disney and Pixar over Dreamworks...But neither can hold a candle to how Dreamworks was able to make such an amazing trilogy. 9 FREAKING YEARS and this scene STILL gives me goosebumps. This movie was what made me listen and appreciate the music in movies more. I honestly don't know a group of CG animated movies that can top How to Train your Dragon.
