The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal-every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). Cool
Hi again sorry just realised I've been busy and I'm busy day at home now xx
The fact Delores says “I knew he never left, I heard him every day” makes me think she listened to all of Bruno’s shows, including the telenovelas.
funny😂
yo right
@RawCookieDough yeah!
Its dolores not delores
dolores bursting into tears during a family dinner and everyone thinks she's having a mental breakdown but it's actually because bruno killed off her favorite rat
Abuela's line, "The miracle is not some magic that you've got. The miracle is you. Not some gift, just you," melts my heart 💓
If you can't get a miracle then be a miracle. -Nick Vuicic
@Rosalie Timmerman Oh the projection is strong. This is a cartoon. She's not a real abuser, and people change all the time. If you want to be bitter about a cartoon grandmother learning from her mistakes and family forgiveness than that's a personal problem.
@Rosalie Timmerman i mean abusers have changed so that's not really valid. Plus abula and her family mostly had Time working on there relationships while building the Casita again
@hey hey you you me neither. I've seen abusers say "Hey, I'm sorry I'm better now" and then go right back to abusive the moment stress happens. Abuela hasn't changed. She was just called out and she's currently in a honeymoon period. She'll go right back to demanding Pepa not show her emotions, and Luisa use her strength for everything, and so on.
@king digital printing I disagree
“We see how bright you burn. We see how brave you’ve been. Now see yourself in turn” Mirabel finally got the acknowledgment and appreciation from her family.. makes me tear up every time
@chillxd_out she didnt feel that was enough she wanted everyone to acknowledge her, she wanted to show how much she carss for the family
Well, her parents have always appreciated her.p to be fair..
@Max Dekudess hits you in the feels don't it?
Im late but just reading your comment put tears in my eyes
Nudo en la garganta.... 😭.
I really like how Mariano is actually just an incredibly kindhearted guy. With him being Isabella’s betrothed, it would’ve been very easy to make him a bad guy, but he’s just a sweet, hopeless romantic.
P
@Ceara Ivory I suppose. I think he was also taken by the whole perfect aspect. He is very loving. I do get a kick out of how he tells Delores that they should get married right away. A true romantic at heart.
@Manda Bernarde he’s not slow. He writes poetry. He just fell in love with love, not Isabella. Men do that too. I do love how he’s not a bad guy. He’s very respectful and loving. Isabella just didn’t love him and that’s okay.
@allyepic Yeah!!
The part that hits me the hardest is when the townspeople show up. Everyone, especially abuela, were so worried about what THEY could offer to the town and about being hated if they were no longer useful without their gifts. To see the people coming together to remind them that even without gifts, they are also a part of the town and given the chance, the townspeople would do for them too... Truly a beautiful moment.
The real magic is family and community.
I love this song ❤
They didn’t know the magic would come back. They saw the family was now homeless. The family that had spent 50 years helping them with every need. The family to whom they owed their very lives to, thanks to Pedro’s sacrifice. For 50 years, they could do nothing to repay them. Now they finally can.
Yeah totally agree, but also they can't hate on them for not having their gifts anymore because none of them have gifts.
my part i think hit hard is bruno apologies part to pepa
@GamingAnimators they had no guarantee the gifts would come back. I think they were grateful for everything the family had done up until that point.
The part when they sing "We see how bright your burn, We see how brave you've been" hits so hard because the family finally acknowledges Mirabel and I think so many of us wish for the same acknowledgement from our own families
The same me I cried of this part so much
It literally gives me chills and want to cry.
For one, you’re not wrong and I know how she feels.
Dude I’m crying adhksjs
I'm not crying, you are
2:45 I really want to hear more of Agustin's singing voice, he and Julieta deserve a full duet together
@T Jones I now want a duet between him and Dolores right now
@Gerardo Lareu xd agustinian?
Youre right
Try putting on only left ear of headphone and listen to the 'TIME FOR DINNER' part in WDTAB
Youll hear only julieta saying it and its sooo beautiful
We missed out on so many good songs from so many characters . I mean,Mariano is voiced by a super famous Colombian singer and he only got like two lines in the last song. What a waste.
@VENKATRAMAN PADMANABHAN A g u s t i n i a n
The fact that Bruno was just trying to joke but they took it literally just because of his gift.
But for real tho, this song shows a lot of development for each character. Just because someone is not “special”, doesn’t mean they are not useful in any way. The main message here from this song is Teamwork makes the dream work and each family member deserves love equally.
the song literally says that teamwork makes the dream work in Isabela's verse "It's a dream when we work as a team"
Yeah, I figured it out Bruno never had a vision of the rain from the description about his grin. That was just Bruno having fun
What's cool is that they put in melodies from every song heard in Encanto in this one, despite having different words you can hear some of the other songs melodies in this one. Camilo singing the melody for We Don't Talk About Bruno, and even Bruno sneaking in "Let It Go" and you have the piano for it playing. Best one was 2:12 where Isabela sings a part which sounds like her part when she's coming down on her vine in We Don't Talk About Bruno, 2:20 Luisa and Isabela sings a part which sounds like Surface Pressure, and 2:28 Isabela, Luisa, Mirabel and Dolores sings a part which sounds like What Else Can I do. But looking at the lyrics as well, comparing to The Family Madrigal, the first song featured in this film, the lyrics go "So many stars, and everyone gets to shine." But now in All Of You, it goes "So full of stars, and everyone wants to shine." I feel like that is like recalling to the beginning where everyone feels like they "get to shine" and all have a special place in this family, which isn't true as we've seen in this film, Abuela being the head of the family only has her eyes on Isabela, grooming her to become as perfect and pure as possible. As well as only focusing on the miracle. In this song, when Abuela realizes that she shouldn't rely on the miracle, she is seen looking at her daughters as it shows that she cared more about the miracle than her own kin.
@Ash Volcan I love that Disney integrates other movies into this one...
@Your Compadre, Infinity I THOUGHT so!
@Kenneth no kidding!!
Nice catch
@Andrew Johnson
AAAAAA YEEEESSSSSSS
M U S I C MY B R A I N K N O W S F R O M O T H E R M U S IC
MMMMMMMM
“But Stars don’t shine they burn.” this just hits differently, you can take it as it is or put it how you want it but still hits you at the core. I can’t help but get teary when I hear this bit. Such a beautiful movie!
Love the bit when Agustín sings "she takes after you". Mirabel has healed the family just like Julieta heals with her meals! :)
Oh wow that went right over my head
Hi. Gis
@K He said*
She said she takes after u no hate
ALSO let us not forget about the hip bump, cause that's my fav scene 😌😍😋
This is our home
Look at this home
We've got every generation
We need a new foundation
So full of music
It may seem hopeless
A rhythm of its own design
But we'll get by just fine
This is my family
Look at this family
A perfect constellation
A glowing constellation
So many stars and everybody gets to shine
So full of stars and everybody want to shine
Its genius
"The miracle is you. Not some gift, just you" definitely hits so hard.
THE WAY MIRABEL SAYS “have you met Delores?” IS SO SOOTHING FOR NO REASON
Dolores*
Nah fr tho
This ending song connects to a lot of the well-developed characters. The first part connects with Alma, with her realizing the miracle isn't a gift, but her family themselves. It also connects with Bruno's struggle, where he realizes that he isn't weird, and that his family misses him. It shifts to Luisa, realizing that it's okay to feel pressured, and then to Isabela, finally realizing that she isn't perfect and embracing who she is. Then it shifts to Mirabel being accepted as who she is by the family.
But the best part? All the character arcs in the song had finished, because of Mirabel. Mirabel showed Alma how she only saw the family as a gift, Mirabel showed Bruno that him leaving wasn't for the best, Mirabel caused Luisa to reveal about her pressure to handle the burdens, and Mirabel made Isabela realize that she needs to be who she is in reality because of their fight. And in the ending, Mirabel ended up being the one holding the magic together, which makes sense, because she practically fixed her whole family.
I love how they brought the town into this. “Lay down your load. We’re only down the road. We’ll do anything for you” A sense of community love. Good job Disney
you mean the same town that were all "Luisa this", "Luisa that" "luisa my shoe lace is untied"
the town certainly came to this but the only thing theh brought was THE AUDACITY
@Ren Sukotsu I agree!
Yeah good job!
Least the town could do after so many years of free healthcare and superhuman labor. ;)
Good job Lin*
Idk if anyone noticed but when everyone lost their powers, hear how Dolores's voice sounds more energetic? Yeah cuz she can't hear everything at once now and she can talk normally instead of whispering
too bad that they recover their powers and Dolores she can hear everything again
"Open your eyes" almost like a callback to 'Waiting on a Miracle' when Mirabel says "Open your eyes, open your eyes, open your eyes." like abuela finally gets her.
Also a line in what else can i do
"You just seem like your lifes been a dream since the moment you opened your eyes"
and it was the first word on the movie
I first watched Encanto last January with my parents, my grandma (Puerto Rican), and my step-grandpa (Mexican).
Today, my grandma came over again and we were listening to some songs in the soundtrack, including this one. So, when Abuela said, “The miracle is you.” my own Abuela gave me a hug and repeated it.
So heartwarming and we all have a miracle inside our hearts ❤️
This song never fails to get me all emotional because of everything that happens in it. Alma recognises where she went wrong, Bruno mends his relationship with his family, the townspeople help the Madrigals, Luisa and Isabela learn to accept their imperfections and vulnerabilities, Dolores gets to confess to the man she loved with all her heart, Mirabel is finally acknowledged, and most importantly, the family begins to heal and break away from the mask of perfection that they forced themselves to wear.
Little Antonio's voice when he says "we made this for you" makes me wanna hug him. Also when Augustus said “The triplets reunite.” So cute!!!
Agustin is now a month
God Yahweh loves, and offers Salvation Only by Faith in Christ Jesus, because we sin and deserve hell, but God who is Great in Mercy sent His Son Christ to Save us, he became man and lived among men, but without sin, and suffered the punishment of our sins, was filled with the Holy Spirit, gave his Life for ours, and was raised from the dead by the Power of the Holy Spirit, by Order of his Father, paying with his death for our wickedness, giving us Salvation only by Faith, not by works so that no one can boast. Glory to Triune God, God bless you
Ikr
Everything Antonio does in this movie is SO....CUTE!!!!!!!!
True
Look at this home, we need a new foundation
It may seem hopeless but we'll get by just fine
Look at this family, a glowing constellation
So full of stars and everybody wants to shine
But the stars don't shine, they burn
And the constellations shift
I think it's time you learn
You're more than just your gift
And I'm sorry I held on too tight
Just so afraid I'd lose you too
The miracle is not some magic that you've got
The miracle is you, not some gift, just you
The miracle is you
All of you, all of you
Okay, so we gonna talk about Bruno? (That's Bruno)
Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno
I'll start, okay
Pepa, I'm sorry 'bout your wedding, didn't mean to be upsetting
That wasn't a prophecy, I could just see you were sweating
And I wanted you to know that your bro loves you so
Let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it go
That's what I'm always saying, bro
Got a lotta 'pologies I got to say
(Hey, we're just happy that you're here, okay?) Uh, But
Come into the light, the triplets all reunite
And no matter what happens we're gonna find our way
Yo, I knew he never left, I heard him every day
What's that sound? (Oh, oh)
I think it's everyone in town
Hey
Lay down your load (lay down your load)
We are only down the road (we are only down the road)
We have no gifts, but we are many
And we'll do anything for you
It's a dream when we work as a team (all of you, all of you)
You're so strong
Yeah, but sometimes I cry (all of you, all of you)
So do I
I may not be as strong but I'm getting wiser
Yeah, I need sunlight and fertilizer
Come on, let's plant something new and watch it fly
Straight up to the sky, let's go
The stars don't shine, they burn
The constellations glow
The seasons change in turn
Would you watch our little girl go?
She takes after you
Oh
Hey Mariano, why so blue?
I just have so much love inside
You know, I've got this cousin too
Have you met Dolores?
Okay, I'll take it from here, goodbye
You talk so loud
You take care of your mother and you make her proud
You write your own poetry every night when you go to sleep
And I'm seizing the moment, so would you wake up and notice me?
Dolores, I see you (and I hear you)
Yes (all of you, all of you)
Let's get married (slow down)
All of you, all of you
Home sweet home
I like the new foundation
It isn't perfect
Neither are we (that's true)
Just one more thing
Before the celebration (what?)
We need a doorknob
We made this one for you
We see how bright you burn
We see how brave you've been
Now, see yourself in turn
You're the real gift, kid, let us in
Open your eyes
Abre los ojos
What do you see?
I see me
All of me
I've been crying throughout the film, but this song hit me the hardest. It felt like a much-needed emotional release. The lyrics were so beautifully written.
The "lay down your load, we have no gifts but we are many" part really got me. The family's had this responsibility to help everyone around them, and it's so nice to see everyone help them in return.
"We have no gifts but we are many and we'll do anything for you". Love this part. People in town showing their gratitude to the family
it mariano
"But the stars don't shine they burn". Love that line!!
@Big Brain Cat 123
Kind of sounded like the one from Hamilton.
IKRRRR
That's when the tears started
Me too
I always cry when I hear the part from 3:53,like it just hits different when her family finally acknowledges her for being brave in the past years despite having no gift when she herself is the miracle of the family’s magic itself.
The line "But stars dont shine they burn" is so powerful, the idea of perfection consumes us but the true is that we will never be perfect no matter how hard we try because perfection does not exist
1:54 This was a heartwarming moment! The community having a turn to help the Madrigals by rebuilding their house.
When Isa, Luisa, and Mirabel sing together they start with the We Don't Talk About Bruno tune, then Surface Pressure, then What Else Can I Do?, the three sisters are together
I literally cried when they gave her the door knob
Same here😭
Same here,😭
@Involten the only reason I didn't is because my friends call Bruno stupid and I always end up laughing dead
@tsunami_nine WAIT WH-
@Mr. Rando “thank you for your offerings mortals”
3:05 - 3:13 has the most Hamilton vibes throughout the entire film !!
@Everliesse Productions haha. The funny part with me is i didn't even know lin wrote these songs😂just magically had a~ hamilton vibe ~ lol but i feel ya
I cannot make it through this song without getting misty. The message that you don’t have to have some amazing talent or be perfect to be loved and being value to the world is so beautiful. There is Mirabel, of course, but also the town that still rallies behind them and helps. The love and dedication that they have for each other is the most precious gift.
"we have no gifts but we are many and we'll do anything for you" I get chills. Not just family but community is so important.
Ok ok ok "The triplets reunite" sounds a hell of a lot like "the trip was only a night" which honestly both fit kind of equally
Lol
“You’re so strong!”
“Yeah… but sometimes I cry”
“So do I”
NOW I’M CRYING-
i'M pRACtIcLlY a pErSon WhO CRieS aloT (tO mUcH) I actually do...😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'M JUST A SAD GURL
Yea same here 😢
@Aubrey VanAcker W I D E L U I S A
bro i'm bouta cry fr 💀
I love how this song is basically everyone's song, welcome to my family, we don't talk about bruno, including isabela's solo in that song, luisa's song and isabela's song except all changed to show development in each song, about how the perfect constellation of gifts wasn't the magic for welcome to my family, how they can talk about bruno, and the other 3 about the 3 sisters together not needing to be always strong and perfect and helping each other instead of carrying solo burdens
Oh this song got me crying, it's so good and cathartic seeing Abuela apologizing and recognizing the error of her ways (and changing for the better), Bruno being welcomed back into the family, and Mirabel just finally being accepted into the family and so much more. Man, this movies just hits me in the feels
All I think is that Bruno spent years practicing the way he'd apologize when he'd come back and when Julieta cut him and told him it's okay he probably was like "but I had a whole performance ready for this moment"😂
it makes me cry seeing how the community came together to help after so many years of abuela feeling strong obligation and duty to her community to serve them with their gifts--the community loves them and even in the nightmare scenario where they lose the magic, they can rely on each other.
and they re-created mirabel's door ceremony with a happy ending this time where she is accepted and embraced as an integral part of her family and she actually gets to open a magic door. 😭
I love how every character sings to the tune of their song. Mirabel starts and ends with the tune of "The Family Madrigal." However through the song she sings to the tune of "Waiting on a miracle". Camilo and Dolores sing to the tune of "We don't talk about Bruno." Luisa sings to the tune of "Surface Peessure. And Isabella sings to the tune of "What else can I do."
I also noticed that at the end all of the things they say about Mirabel are all the things she talked about during "Waiting on a Miracle." It's just such a nice detail and really ties it all together.
true
@pheonix infinite i knew about him since his In The Heights Broadway Musical. My favorite songs and vibe of his lyrics/beat of them since In The Heights.
I think its called a leitmotif
Yeah, just like leitmotif thing on Undertale or something like that. It gives connection.
actually Isabela also sings the tune of we don't about Bruno, they made Mirabel sing her tune in What else can I do.
This song is like the conclusion sentence in a paragraph. It has a little part of each song and all the characters sing a little part. I love how this wraps up the movie!
If you pay attention, when the villagers come in chanting their "ohhs" before they sing their part, the "ohhs" are in the same musical pattern as one of the harmonic background elements in "Dos Orugitas" when the music mentions the butterflies being the miracles that come from the caterpillars breaking down the walls of their cocoons
It's a musical way of saying that not just is the family coming back together a miracle, but that the entire community that they're a part of is a miracle in and of itself. Really fucking cool
When Alma’s part came up, it almost brought me to tears. It’s shows how remorseful she truly is.
When Dolores said "I knew he never left I heard him everyday" I was like, girl what? Why didn't you tell anyone? I know why she didn't tell anyone, but I was just shocked.
Also for anyone who hasn't noticed this song is mix of all the songs that were sung throughout the entire movie of Encanto. Like the beats and tunes are combined together from the other songs into this song. For example, when you hear Isabela singing with Luisa, that's the beat and tune of Isabela's song "What else can I do". Just wanted to share.
@ThatZeoMan yeah, probably
It’s because she probably knew (or maybe heard from bruno) that he left to protect his family, and she didn’t want to out him.
In the movie, when Agustín says “The triplets all reunite!” hes joining in the triplet hug, and I love that because I like the idea that he and Bruno really got along and were basically brothers. And Agustín was also really sad when Bruno left, so hes really happy to see hes back.
3:48 This part is my favorite, the "We see how bright you burn" got me cry everytime
Can we just accept the fact that Dolores’s voice is amazing like 🧍🏾♀️So it turns out that the Lin-Manuel Miranda guy actually wanted to play Bruno and right after I heard Bruno rap I was like “ now I know why” bc in Hamilton he like created how the songs were provided and stuff and there was like rap battles
"you're the real gift kid, let us in" i swear the delivery in this line made me cry every time without fail
“We see how bright you burn” we see how brave you’ve been” “now see yourself in turn” melts my heart ❤️
last line of each member
3:39 = Antonio
3:52 = Pepa, Félix, Dolores, Camilo
3:58 = Isabela, Luisa
4:05 = Julieta, Agustín
4:11 = Bruno
4:15 = Abuela Alma
4:28 = Mirabel
nobody is talking about the amazing range of stephanie beatriz's voice enough. she was able to sound different in every song especially here and in familia madrigal.
"We see how bright you burn
We see how brave you've been
Now, see yourself in turn"
Mirabel resonates with me so much. I'm important to everyone but cannot feel it because my gift is deep within, inside. Loved it! Uwu
Dolores and Bruno's lines have such Hamilton/Lin Manuel Miranda energy and I'm here for it.
I don't think I've seen anyone point this out. But Abuela's line "Open your eyes" is a direct callout to Waiting On a Miracle where Mirabel says that too :')
All the lyrics in this song are all my favorite lyrics.
❤❤❤
The ending of this song was beautiful. It's as if the family finallu acknowledged how truly valuable Mirabel was. Bruno was right, she is a gift
Wait I just noticed that when Bruno says “let it gooo” a piano in the background starts playing a bit of let it go from frozen, that’s actually really cool!
Yea I noticed that it so cool!
Omg I just realised/noticed
@Carmen :D thank you :D
@Simply_Maria Why can't it be both?
@Paper IDC I think its iconic!
i can never finish this song without shedding a tear. It's just so beautiful
ISABELA: You’re so strong
LUISA: Yeah, but sometimes I cry
ISABELA and MIRABEL: So do I!
My favorite line in the entire film!
I almost cried in this movie, especially Abuela's backstory, this movie is the best I have seen so far
I love how this one song includes Melodie’s from every song, specifically “through the roof, through the sky, let’s go” and so on. It’s a beautiful thing to include for the family and community get together
This song is beautiful, and I like the character's colour in the lyrics
@Mbita Acoustic Guitar Spambot!
U are so true
@SEXY GIRLS 💋💦 Damn bots.
Agreeable :)
Same Zaky this song is beautiful and same with the lyrics I love it 😍
I really love how the lyrics' colors coordinate to which ever character is singing
My favorite song from this movie. The scene when the whole town comes to help makes me cry every time.
When Luisa sings "sometimes I cry" and other sisters sing "so do I", I always wanted to say the same thing and I'm literally crying a little.

LET US THE FUCK IN
@MusicallyAlways you didn't make "ayo"
Ayo😳
OK ILL TAKE IT FROM HERE GOODBYE
@MC_baconBOIYT you see there’s this thing called exaggeration
WHO IS CUTTING THE DAMN ONIONS!! The last part about the Madrigals singing to Mirabel as she goes towards the door, how each family member acknowledges her and in turn remind her to acknowledge herself as well, all of her.. I was bawling in the theater for the entire final act. This part of the song just made me a mess, a happy mess but a mess.
Such lovely feelings and voices . I need more of this family . Disney HAS to make a sequel or Madrigal series 😭 they're just so lovely I wanna hear them and see them everyday .
Like how nice would it be to see the Madrigal girls having a chit chat together for exemple !
I love it
I like the exchange between Mariano and Dolores because Mariano says "I see you" and with Dolores is the same age as Isabel, but a few months younger - Isabel is mostly the one who is seen even by the villagers. Dolores to Mariano "I hear you," Mariano has more to offer than his looks and is a sensitive kinda guy that Dolores picks up things about him that are more than his looks.
Lin is a musical genius, hearing everyone's development in one song takes talent and boi, he has alot of that.
@Raymond Maciel he can't make anything trash lol
Man 2021 was Lin's year, he directed his first movie, He brought Vivo to life, and he wrote amazing songs for this masterpiece. Man is there anything this Man can't do.
@G Moleta I think that's why I love this song so much...reminds me sooooo much to Hamilton's Quiet Uptown for some reason. I love Lin 💕
That's why Nonstop in Hamilton is my favorite song. Lin is amazing.
that's his gift tho:)))))
Such a powerful song about family and growth. I love how it’s about how family is stronger together and United.
Love the bit when Agustín sings "she takes after you". Mirabel has healed the family just like Julieta heals with her meals! :)
Is just me or I always just gets goosebumps when I heard oh from the people in town, its so much awesome, I really really love this song
I just have to say that the line “You’re more than just your gift” blessed me in my heart of hearts. I love everything about this movie!
For this song some characters sing with their characteristical "theme": Mirabel starts with "The Family Madrigal" theme, then at 1:01 Abuela sings in the key of "dos oruguitas" (but in a less obvious way), later at 2:12 Isabela sings in her theme as well (heard through the song "we dont talk about Bruno" and sang by Mirabel during her own song "what else can I do?"), and later at 2:20 the part of Luisa from "Surface Pressure" to end with the already iconic phrase (for me) "Straight up to the sky, let's gooo!!!". This was lovely
@bruh moment "give it to your sister, your sister's older..."
What part exactly of surface pressure is that? I can’t seem to recall and even listening to the song I can’t find it and it’s driving me nuts
That is what i noticed aswell
i noticed that too!! i think it's amazing
Thats LIN’s specialty. If you’ve watched Hamilton , Each character has their own “THEME SONG” and he incorporates it in a One Big Song/Some Songs when a key character enters in the song.
Honestly, this made me cry.. this is a very heartwarming song
I was emotional when I first listened to this song. But I laughed so hard when Bruno said, "We need a doorknob". HAHAHA
I didn't see that coming!
I love that Dolores tells Mariano to slow down. It's not like I have a lot of experience but while a crush can happen instantly, I don't think love does. Other disney princesses fall in love at first sight so I love that they added a touch of realism here.
During the whole show everyone in the Familia Madrigal didn't see their own selves, they always saw their gifts, and for Mirabel who is waiting for her gift, she can't see herself cause she only thinks on how she can make her family proud
My favorite part is Dolores’s rap. And how she says “Slow down” when he says let’s get married
@Noor's Artsy Hangout lol yeah i am not answering that last part
@D Also if you feel comfortable answering, how old are you?
@D Oh, I thought so. Girl
@Noor's Artsy Hangout boy
@D Yea. Are you a boy or a girl
beautiful song i love it
Watching Encanto's ending be like:
I've been crying for the last 5 minutes starting with Abuela's backstory and then crying even more seeing Mirabel and Abuela embracing each other during this brief magnificent scene but I guess we're already past such touching moments like thi-
- "Brunito..."
Th-this is fine...
- "...you're more than just your gift"
No! Stop! Holy hell, where's my bloody tissue...
- "...the miracle is you, not some gift, just you..."
* starting sobbing heavily again * Hey, what did I just say!?
- "Soooo... we're gonna talk about Bruno?!..."
Thank God, Camilo... finally a comic relie-
- "We have no gifts, but we are many and we'll do anyyyyy-thing for you..."
* tears, tears again * Oh for god's sake!!!
etc. etc. etc.
And if that's not enough, here comes the final part ending with "Abre los ojos"...
So this was my experience regarding Encanto xD... I am a guy and this film literally knocked me down, but in a good way!
PS: I love how real are the facial expressions of these characters, and their body language is so good as well.
love it
Notice the little details where Dolores sings about hearing him. And the “Let it rain, let it snow, let it go” had a piano bit that is literally “Let It Go” and of course is a nod to it. And especially, they’re finally talking about Bruno.
"What do you see?"
"Me."
When she said "all of me", the scene moving to each family member.
As if saying that Mirabel sees herself in all of her family. They are parts of her life.
whay
How nice. ...
Its Giving me flashbacks, memories.
that line got my eyes ballin after crying at the abuela hugged mirabel scene
I love how All of Me and All of You sounds like I love me and I love you
Crying over this song again
My favorite part of the lyrics was when everyone was singing about Mirabel and the lyrics showed their colors mixed together
The most favorite lines to me
"We see how bright you burn
We see how brave you've been
Now see yourself in turn
You're the real gift, kid
Let us in"
This song is just so heartwarming ! I love how they include the tunes of the other songs in the movie. I want to hear a song with just Julieta and Agustin! Maybe Dolores and Antonio should have their own songs as well!
Alright, I'll be honest... I cried when I first heard this song in the movie... I still do.
And just before this song Camilo was saying “What is that? Not a house!” I love him so much
@Wancourb plus more Bruno
@Curly-n-Girly true ture
@Bloodmoonwolf 123 Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno (i love that part so much aaaa)
That being said, my favorite part is Isabela’s part, of course.
@Goldfish Crackers That’s because he was the only one who didn’t know him or that he was coming back. So of course he’d be confused.
Why isn't there a music video of this song? It's such a great song and the visuals just make it even better.
True :(
The fact that after everything the Madrigals have done for the town and that their finally repaying them for their hard work is so fulfilling for me.
I LOVE Bruno’s voice when he says yeah there’s a lot to say about Bruno
Yeah... Like the way that Bruno heard them badmouthing him in the earlier song! They should talk about that!
I love Bruno’s part!
And Camilo’s voice
always giving me goosebumps everytime I listen to this song, it just feels so good how the family reunited after getting crushed
I started crying when the townspeople started saying "Lay down your load" like shit. They knew how much pressure and burden the Madrigals carried to make Encanto prosper and persevere and how they appreciate them so much
That's my favorite part of the whole song, especially with the visual of Mariano standing at the front. Like this dude was straight publicly humiliated and got punched in the nose twice, but he didn't just come along to help the Madrigals, he was leading them.
@cxitlinrxse it's pretty easy to put on a facade that everything is perfect
That makes me think, if they know they had so much pressure, why didn’t they help earlier??
ok no need to sware
Me too, wth
i really love how they reuse the flows/melody/rhythm (im not good at music sorry) like in bruno's part it has a similar flow to we dont talk about bruno and luisa's line had a similar flow to surface pressure it makes things feel connected like its one whole story
