    These guys got it exactly right! Tomlin has to clean up the locker room or he will be gone. No one player or coach is bigger than the team.

    I'm a Steelers fan. AB is great, but the problem is that he's a fucking idiot. It's like having TO on your team. He's a good wide receiver, but my god he does some of the dumbest things sometimes.

    Fuck Pittsburgh. You have a top 2 reciever and the best RB. Can't even make them happy. I'm forever loyal to the team but cmon man. Let's just trade him and start rebuilding. This season really sucked.

    • Mike Cox
      Mike Cox 9 months ago

      Bryce Apollow are you dumb? I guess making AB the highest paid receiver at the time of his signing is not making him happy? He continues to be the highest targeted receiver in the league and even led all receivers in touchdowns this season but they can't make him happy huh? Bell just didn't want to settle for his millions in installments he wanted the big lump sum in guaranteed money but the Steelers don't do contracts that way unless it's for franchise quarterbacks. I can't deny that they are great players but they aren't bigger than the franchise.

      @Jay Garrick
      Ben won with Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward with Willie Parker at RB. Great defense too though. But it's rare the QB is the only reason you win. I wouldn't call him mediocre. He's 6th all time in career passing yards and he's coming off the best season of his career. He will inevitably be a hall of famer.

    49ers got a 2nd pick in the draft this year and could definitely use someone else along side Marquis Goodwin and George Kittle. And not to mention they have a lot of cap space

    • you're right
      you're right 9 months ago

      IAm Exqluhsive yeah well don't hold your breath because Jimmy G is no Patrick Mahomes. He'll need a good defense. The fact he's dating porn stars should be a huge red flag that he's not going to win any Super Bowls for you without A LOT of help. 49ers have the Rams and Seahawks in their division so they'd still be the 3rd best team with the 3rd best QB and possibly the 4th best QB if the Cardinals draft Kyler Murray. As a Steelers fan, i hope the 49ers do aggressively go after AB so we can move on and prepare for the future, but I would not want AB at 31 years old eating up a bunch of cap space if I was a 49ers fan. I would want them to keep their draft picks and actually build their own team instead of shopping for unproven guys (Garappolo) or old and potentially washed up stars from other teams (Richard Sherman and AB).

    • Tom Witner
      Tom Witner 9 months ago

      @IAm Exqluhsive
      Steelers would take that 2nd pick or any first round pick in a heartbeat without thinking twice about it that's the steal of a lifetime

    • IAm Exqluhsive
      IAm Exqluhsive 9 months ago

      you're right you bring up defense as if it plays a huge role rn. Look at all the teams left in the playoffs most of them besides the Cowboys have a sorry ass defenses. Yeah I agree defense play a huge role. But most team with good defenses ended up losing. As long as you got a scoring juggernaut you’ll always have a chance with the acquisition of AB to the niners I think they’d have just that

    • you're right
      you're right 9 months ago

      Ronnie Patton the Steelers get to choose where he goes. So SF will need to give the best offer which will probably require a 1st round pick for a 31 year old WR past his prime

    • Ronnie Patton
      Ronnie Patton 9 months ago

      S.F. is where AB indicates he's going. Look at what the Mack and Cooper trades did for Chicago and Dallas.
