    • Pumpkin Pie Recipe: frommybowl.com/pecan-pumpkin-custard-pie/
    • Stovetop Stuffing Recipe: frommybowl.com/easy-vegan-stovetop-stuffing/
    • Mashed Potatoes:
~2 lbs. Gold Potatoes, cut into cubes and peeled if desired
1 cup+ Unsweetened Plant Milk (I used Soy Milk)
    1 tsp Garlic Powder
    1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
    1 tsp Salt
Add the cubed Potates to a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, or until the Potatoes are fork tender. Drain the Potatoes, return them to the pot, and add the remaining ingredients, starting with only 1/2 cup of Plant Milk and adding more as necessary. Mash with either a hand masher or an electric mixer on low speed until the potatoes reach your desired consistency.
    • Gravy: frommybowl.com/tahini-gravy/
    • Tempeh "Cutlets":
    1 cup Vegetable Broth
    2 tbsp Tamari
    1 tbsp Maple Syrup
    1 tsp Liquid Smoke
    1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
Add all Marinade ingredients to a medium bowl, stir well, the add in the Tempeh. Let sit for at least 10 minutes, then cook the tempeh and marinade over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, flipping occasionally. Broil at end if desired but if so, leave some liquid at the bottom of the pan so the tempeh does not stick to it.

Had my 1st vegan Thanksgiving (been vegetarian for 12 years prior) and it was yummy!!! I’m the only vegan in my family so I had to cook everything but I impressed everyone with not only delicious food but I did a whole feast plus two desserts for around $20! Plus, I got to tell a few new people why I choose to go vegan in a kind, non preaching way and one of them was really interested in doing some research so maybe I helped save future animals by planting a seed... wink, wink!!!

This was my favorite video in quite some time! Great job, your recipes looked delicious, and I loved how they were based on whole plant foods! I also thought you did a tasteful job with your partnership with Google (I preferred this style compared to when you pair with thrive market so that it doesn't change the content of your videos). Keep it up, this really was such a great video!

Hey gang! I’m having a bit of cognitive dissonance as of late. Last week my auntie Junipaeda got stranded on an island when her boat sunk and had to survive on this island (which was more of a sand bar than anything) for over 3 days!!! He boat had a fishing pole in it- for catch and release only! And she used it to catch a fish AND EAT IT. Surely she could’ve toughed it out. We are both very very vegan but I’m thinking she maybe broke the code. Should I still get her Christmas presents? Any advice would be much appreciated! Yay PETA!

How long have you been transitioning to veganism for? Within ~1 month, I stopped having cravings for meat/ dairy/ eggs, so if you're just getting started, stick with it! Watching documentaries like Earthlings and Cowspiracy helped me stay vegan and now meat is desiccating flesh to me so I have no interest. :)
Make sure you're eating enough calories- a lot of the time when we're not eating enough, our bodies crave the most calorie-dense foods, which are animal products. Plugging what you eat into Cronometer.com for a day or two can really help to make sure you're eating enough (you don't need to obsess over calories, but it's nice to have a general idea).
Also, there's great vegan fried "chicken." You can either buy vegan meat, or you can make your own. Check out SweetPotatoSoul's channel! She has lots of great vegan recipes.
      Hope this helps!

Thanks for this! I'm going to be missing Thanksgiving for the third year in a row due to my studying abroad (which is a shame, as TBH I sometimes even prefer it to Christmas), so it's awesome to have a few recipes that I can make for myself without too much fuss!! Just imagine all the stuffing leftovers I'm going to have...🤪
