Love the smoke lenses. I just did the same to my bike, except I only installed them on the rear signals. I installed them on the front as well but quickly took them off as I felt they made the running lights too dark for day riding (less visible to any vehicles in front). But hey, to each their own :)

SilverFox True they are less visible for day time running light. Good valid point. Cheers

Nice job bro, that's what I like about your diy jobs, when you come across a small problem you always sort it out with a bit of common sense, RSM8, take it ease.

Nice new lenses! I just had to change a running light on the front of my 99'. Simple procedure right? HELL NO!!! Screws seized in the lenses, stripped the heads, had to drill them out, the drill bit caught and snapped one screw completely flush with the housing... Theeeennnnn,,, the bulb was so rusted into the socket that I had to break the old bulb just to get it out. At that point I said fuckit and replaced the socket with one from an auto part store and ghetto rigged it into place.,, pain in my ass. Just to change a damn bulb. Your bike comes apart like new.

    Hi Bernbo,
I'm living in The Netherlands. Here they are not selling signal/turning bolbs with turinglight and runningliht in one. Do you have a link for those bolbs were I can order them?:)
And have those bolbs a special name? Or just turningbolbs?

    • Bernbo
      Bernbo  3 years ago +1

+Botswana No special name, just dual filament signal bulbs. You can get them in clear or amber. Try this link here www.amazon.com/IPCW-CWB-1157A-Amber-Twist-Mount/dp/B005NYDRUS/ref=sr_1_73?ie=UTF8&qid=1463495201&sr=8-73&keywords=1157A+amber+signal+bulbs Cheers!
