Defective? One word...CHINA.
Love the smoke lenses. I just did the same to my bike, except I only installed them on the rear signals. I installed them on the front as well but quickly took them off as I felt they made the running lights too dark for day riding (less visible to any vehicles in front). But hey, to each their own :)
SilverFox True they are less visible for day time running light. Good valid point. Cheers
Nice job bro, that's what I like about your diy jobs, when you come across a small problem you always sort it out with a bit of common sense, RSM8, take it ease.
+Skeggy Cruiser Thanks bro, much appreciated.Cheers!
that's really cool my friend. I wish we could have running lights in our front indicator light fittings. Rsmf. Alan.
@alan bailey Wow you learn something new everyday, thanks for the heads up. Cheers!
Not in England my friend indicators is indicators and headlights is headlights lol ! But it is a good idea i think Rs.Alan
+alan bailey Thanks Alan. I thought it was standard on all bikes.
Will you be installing a set of airhorns on your motorcycle as a future upgrade to the stock horn?
@Kevin Marshall Just checked out the sound of these, that will definitely get your attention.
+Bernbo I've got a Wolo Bad Boy Airhorn on my 2008 Honda VTX 1300R it's insanely loud!!
+Kevin Marshall Hey Kevin, probably not, but I am thinking about the Fiamm freeway blaster. Will see.
looks way better with the new lenses..good work...have you ever thought of relocating the rear turn signals?? i have ..take a look...another little challenge...i think u will like the setup Bernbo..:) those little vstars are a treat indeed..u will get a glimpse of them in the vid - audio testing
same to u :)
+CruiZn Joe Thanks bro, I really do like it better now. I'll check it out man.Cheers!
+seemeontv Thanks Joe.Cheers!
Nice new lenses! I just had to change a running light on the front of my 99'. Simple procedure right? HELL NO!!! Screws seized in the lenses, stripped the heads, had to drill them out, the drill bit caught and snapped one screw completely flush with the housing... Theeeennnnn,,, the bulb was so rusted into the socket that I had to break the old bulb just to get it out. At that point I said fuckit and replaced the socket with one from an auto part store and ghetto rigged it into place.,, pain in my ass. Just to change a damn bulb. Your bike comes apart like new.
+siTTinLo420 Dam bro, I hate it when something so simple turns into a shitshow.
Great Idea looks great also the video clarity is perfect
+1down4up Thanks man, that's my new FZ200 camera.
They look good Bernbo.I'm getting ready to convert my back turn signal lights to where stay lit all the time and still act as a turn signal.
That's what I thought
+dennis harbin Thanks Dennis, That's a good idea, not sure why they are not like that from the factory, just makes sense.
Hi Bernbo, I'm living in The Netherlands. Here they are not selling signal/turning bolbs with turinglight and runningliht in one. Do you have a link for those bolbs were I can order them?:)And have those bolbs a special name? Or just turningbolbs?
+Botswana No special name, just dual filament signal bulbs. You can get them in clear or amber. Try this link here www.amazon.com/IPCW-CWB-1157A-Amber-Twist-Mount/dp/B005NYDRUS/ref=sr_1_73?ie=UTF8&qid=1463495201&sr=8-73&keywords=1157A+amber+signal+bulbs Cheers!
