  • Now that we have RAM modules capable of up to 4266MHz, we need to find out... does high speed RAM ACTUALLY make a difference?

If you want a good pc for gaming save money and spent it in a great combination and use a strong cpu and gpu. No need of ram Ο.C.

These RAM benchmarks were only tested against gaming programs. Has Linus Studios done benchmarked RAM speed comparisons against various CAD programs on workstations as well?

I have a Core i9 9900K which supports 2666 MHz out of factory and I have Ram DIMMS of 3000 MHz, do I need to OC my rams to reach 3000 MHz? My RAM is already of 3000 MHz but the CPU doesn't support that. So, do I need to just OC my CPU or I have to OC my RAM too?

Before I even watch this. Yes ram speed does matter for gaming . I've seen a 15fps difference between slow ram and fast ram. Although there are diminishing returns

Let’s get some democracy going, I’ve got 3000 MHz 16gb ram. Should I het higher clock and more ram or stay with the current type of speed but upgrade to 32gb? Or just none? I bought a 3700x sooooo

In india 3000mhz is cheaper only 1 dollar than the 3200mhz, and 2400mhz and 2666mhz are even more expensive. It only makes sense to go with 3200mhz, cheaper and good performance. I am thinking to pair with 9400F.

What about RAM latency? I've heard that sticks of the same type and MHz can still have different internal throughput speeds. The RAM I have is DDR3 2133 MHz, but the heat spreaders on them are ridiculous. I had to trim my CPU cooler just a tiny bit to get them to fit. xD I was just curious about that, and what effect it has on a system.

Does ram gb capacities matter if I want to mix it with another I currently have one stick of 16 but I want to add a 32gb would they work together or would I have to get two 32gb or two 16gb (I just want more than 16gb I’m getting into vr)
