The perm does make u look full Egyptian, it suits you! My husband is South Korean so his hair is actually pin straight… not even the slightest hint of a wave like “European straight” hair and he recently got a perm too and it’s not bad but I told him not to get it done again LOL, I love how silky smooth his hair is but I mean it’s just hair it’ll grow back again, and it’s fun to get a perm and change things up for fun once in a while. You look great both ways though, the perm definitely flatters you!

I have naturally curly thick hair and I think the lady who did her hair did an AMAZING SPOT ON job. The curls look so natural. I'd never guess that Dina's hair was pin straight. You look beautiful Dina, Masha'Allah sister!!
I am so glad my parents never forced me to wear the hijab when I was little, or at least I didn't want to, and when I watch Dina, I remember when I was 16/17/18 and so on, I've colored my hair every color I've had a perm when I was 19 years old, and when it grew out it was so ugly hahaha. I started wearing the hijab when I was 25, got married 26, my first kid 27, now in my 30's I could not imagine going through a perm now or even coloring my hair 🤣 it's crazy! I am so happy for you Dina, for trying everything out, it maybe feeling like you've missed on those things. Also when I see someone wearing a bikini and getting a tan, I've done that too, so I don't feel like I've missed on something.
Let's make this normal, let our daughters grow up with their own choices doesn't make them a bad Muslim! I was praying five times a day strictly on time even Fajr prayers when I wasn't wearing the Hijab, and now I struggle with it every day 😫

Good for you. As for myself, I was raised to wear hijab with puberty. I loved it, where else all the girls had dry frizzy hair, I had soft silky hair from wearing hijab. I was also raised to pray on time, and now that I'm an adult i find i get depressed when I miss prayers. Everyone has their experiences.
