  • I took a look at my father in law's lift in his garage that took care of his problem having 2 garages and 3 cars. Hope you enjoy. Would you get one of these if you had the same problem?

Shawn from Liftsplusdepot will answer all questions pertaining to a new lift. Really nice guy to deal with. The lift in this video is a Tuxedo. Works great for private use!

How does your father-in-law see the mark on where to stop when he is behind the wheel backing up the car. Also like others have comment, how high of a garage ceiling is required. Thanks

His ceiling height is 124" or 10'4"... I don't know how he knows to stop when in the car, maybe he just peeks out to see where he is. It works out that the Corvette is not a tall car and his Tracker (now sold and he bought a Ford Ranger) isn't completely tall either. He had to do a side mount garage motor to get clearance and that's about it. You really gotta figure out the height of both your cars you will put in the lift and go from there. Really cost effective compared to another garage bay.

Oh yea moving the motor to the side is a must. Good tips!

I don’t think it’s autoliff, I think I’m the video I saw what the website is. He does have metal ramps, yes. Before you get one, make sure your garage motor isn’t in the way. He got a motor that mounted on the wall instead of the ceiling to make room.

What is his ceiling height? Did he have to convert the garage tracks to make them high-clearance?

Does he scrape bumper pulling on straight with that vette instead of backing in?

No, as low as that car is, he doesn't scrape, plus there is a super hard plastic piece under there that is specifically for scrapes. He backs the Vette into the lift so it clears the light in the ceiling when it's up.

I'd love to have a lift like that. Price isn't bad either. Good color choice on the Corvette too.

I like the front, side profile and interior of the C7. Just not sure about the rear and tail lights. I prefer the classic round lights.

It is nice, I think the C7 is by far the best looking, though (inside and out).

That generation Corvette was my favorite. A good mix of classic and modern styling.

It's a 50th anniversary convertible. I love the blue, too.
