aaah yes josh loved psychedelic music, too
I wish this video was longer, I love hearing them talk about music.
0:39-0:54= I agree & feel the same way!
I'm in love with his little lisp at 0:46
Good job boys! Remember, stay away from drugs and Rick Rubin
these boys know how to rock!
1:30 Wtf is playing in the backround?
Very good choice, guys.
I have a feeling that Greta Van Fleet will help bring back record stores...everything has gone digital so this generation really doesn't know what satisfaction the hard copies can bring. Yay, Greta Van Fleet!!! ^_^
No one is buying a Greta Van Fleet vinyl.
* curtsy * Thank you, dearheart...
@Charley Patterson Ok, you are too polite for me to continue being angry. I still despise Greta, but you really are a respectable person.
I'm sorry you feel that way, and I can respect your opinion. *huggles*
@Charley Patterson I don't respect them, that's the problem. I love art and seeing this... thing that is GvF, is just an insult.
Man, these guys seem like they have really bland personalities...
SuperCatendo Not so much with Josh, though. I've watched most of their interviews and have come to the conclusion that Josh is a bonefied goofball. He and Jake are both Taurus, but Josh acts like a female Gemini...which I love. ^_^
I'll be 59 this year. I saw Led Zep when I was 17 (June 1977). They were and still are one of my favorite rock bands. Yes, Greta Van Fleet sounds something like Zep, but so did almost every hard rock band in the 70s and 80s. You wear your influences on your sleeve. As for Greta, I hear Zep, Rush, AC/DC, Jet, Extreme, Chili Peppers... they're a great mix of a lot of great bands. Why can't people just appreciate them for who they are? Greta, if you're reading this: rock on, my brothers! I have a suggestion for your next producer: Mike Patton (Faith No More) or Andy Sturmer (Jellyfish).
I would appreciate them if they were as good as any big band from the 70's yet they are not.
@karen micciulli It's as refreshing as you at 59
I am the same age as you. You are totally correct. Rock on. This band is very refreshing.
These are Bob Dylan's children.
Chuck Berry flat out stole moves and licks from T-Bone Walker but there was no internet and no one was there to make a big deal of itDoesnt take away from Chucks interpetation of Walker as the same goes for GVF of Zep
@Syfoll While Greta is selling out shows everywhere, you're sitting on your ass complaining about how you don't like them. It's quite simple, if you don't like them, just don't listen to them. Neither the band nor their thousands of fans will miss you.
Just stop justifying liking this crap. Admit that you have shit taste and live with it.
tie oneon Well said.
Paste mag writer Ellen states: SNL to book.."an actual original act, in rock or otherwise." ( saying SNL is failing by booking these unoriginal white guys)While she laments GVF being unorignal .....how lame as she goes to the already DISPROVEN ANTI WHITE SPEW OF White groups taking /stealing from BlacksHere is some history not yet destroyed by YOUR SJW's:EVEN BLACK MUSICANS AND POETS etc have "copied/borrowed/stolen" from others then after having blasted SNL and not really being the barometer ( Saturday Night Live is not necessarily the best barometer for musical forecasting-no one is looking to SNL for the next best thing in music, or even in comedy, these day). she states:And as for SNL, they must decide whether or not they want to be part of the broader American music conversation. With solid ratings, an established platform and a still relatively influential voice, the show has the opportunity to break artists and act as a yardstick in music-BTW,, not really a fan of GVF other than glad to see the young ones enjoying the music
Whah! where is this record shop in NY .? see u in may guys ! So happy for them getting the SNL gig. I’ve been watching SNL since the 70s and they were always giving new and sometimes obscure artists a chance, that’s what it was all about , they deserve to be there just as much as anyone else.
A few blocks South of Washington Square Park. 210 Thompson St. between Bleeker & W 3rd.
this is like get out but instead of old white people using black bodies it's old white people using white millennials' bodies.
ELLEN JOHNSON IS A CLUELESS CUNT
Why do they need a camera crew to go record shopping? Man They are really trying hard do distance them self from that other band they are trying to be .
I'm surprised they didn't just buy the entire Led Zeppelin discography.
@Syfoll I don't believe they sound as if they're ONLY influenced by Led Zepplin. I hear a ton of different classic rock influences in their music. "Agree to Disagree"
@Jessica Griffin It's the truth
@Syfoll Cool story, bro.
@Jessica Griffin Yea, they have 2 influences: Led and Zeppelin
They probably already have their parent's copies....
Fake Zeppelin No original ideasCopycat Money actShame on humanity.
your existence is a nuisance
Well that's just like, your opinion, man. Fuck off and go crawl into a hole, loser.
Ha shut up
What type of name is Isaac anyway? Sounds like a guy who has no original ideas and is a shame on humanity
@Lauren Frank Who gives a shit about your opinion
These kids are great I hope to hear lots more from them in the future
They'll be gone in 5 years
Mc 5 old Alice Cooper Iggy pop and the stooges And some hard rock scorpions UFO Robin trower Rory Galager On and on somebody in lighten them I
Love you guys. Thank you for all your awesome tunes💕
You should have picked up the MC5 album I saw at the end of the video. Lots of Detroit energy....Like "Kick Out The Jams". Search for it on RU-clip.
I just want to know what Great Lake they’re drinking water from; because I live in Michigan as well, and I don’t look as beautiful as them 😍😂🤘🏼
aw, sammy looks so tired
I love psychedelic rock and Ennio Morricone is also my favourite film music composer! I grew up listening to Bob Dylan too, I was actually just listening to a greatest hits disc the other day. I love these guys ♡
Love this band so much.
it was filmed over a year ago in the summer of 2017
Two. Years. Ago. Now
winter cherry jk bro 😂 as long as you like guitar I’m all for prs idc what you play just keep playing keep rock alive
Why do you not like my prs? lol
winter cherry man I think someone put a prs on your profile pic as a joke luckily I warned you so you can fix it and put your Gibson picture on there lol
Hopefully they will mature with their next release. Lot of potential
I LOVE psychedelic everything especially psychedelic rock. GVF has great taste in music
Their love of music really comes through when you put these guys near vinyl.
