Great videos - how long have you been riding ? Did you start on a Dyna ?
what do you ride, streetbob?
Your videos are what sustain me threw my city's freezing winter. Today it is (-5F)negative 5 degrees below 0 . I was wondering what kind of handelbar bag you have ?
What time of bars are those?
They are the 12" Death Squad Tbars
If I can know how to ride half of what you do I would be sooo happy! love the video thanks.
Thank you. I appreciate that
Nice vid I like that set up. Your bike sounds like a beast.
@6 mins into u hit a bridge? it looks like u flew off ur seat haha intense
I stood up on my pegs
I want ur bike :p il be riding in a year hopefully and a street glide is the one i might get
the street glide is a great bike
+Moparbrent760 beautiful landscapes and that awesome sound, thank u so much for those videos man!
Sounds sooooooo good
what fairing do you have on i like the height of it!!! Does it help with the wind on your face at highway speeds?
Thais one is the Rifle Roadster with the 15" smoked shield. It works good at freeway speeds. The wind barely buffets on top of my helmet
Those 12 inch bars?
sounds like a bassani 2 in 1
+Liquid VenuM Yep, that's right lol I'm running a Rinehart 2-1 now
gotta love cali weather. what height bars are those. 10" or 12"? that's next on my 16 ST slim.
+Liquid VenuM they are 12" look into www.luckydaves.com for bars for your slim
Finally someone who can actually Ride the dam Harley ✊🏼😜🤘🏼
+Train4Life78 Thanks lol
Where did you get that handlebar bag?
+MAMarc You can get them from Pistol Pocket or from San Diego Customs
is this standard speed ot SB, I am getting in next week, it is fucking fast dude
+moparbrent760 what kind of gas milage do you get with all that and the tune.
+moparbrent760 +moparbrent760 I got my street bob, I have Vance short shots and Vance and hines air filter. I am geting power commander to fucking open the beast up next week. But this fucking road seems dangerous..you are brave to drive so fast
+makemoneyrelax basically. I just have and exhaust, high flow air filter, and a tune
loving your setup on that bike man..couple questions. what fairing are you running and how well does it deflect the wind compared to how it was stock with no fairing. and im digging the l.e.d. light bar u have mounted, where u get that from if you dont mind me asking
basically the same height as the stock mini apes, just much much narrower and a lot less pullback. They are just 12" Tbars.check out my newer videos. I'm currently running Lucky Dave's bars. I love them
+moparbrent760 sweet man. one more question. those bars your running in this vid..which are they and how much taller are they then the stock mini apes
+Joshua Sosa Thank you. In this video I have the Rifle roadster faring on it. Currently I'm running the HD quarter fairing with the laminar lip. they both block equal amount of wind. It's considerably noticeable... and the LED light bar is from ebay. search up 6" LED light bar. lots of people sell them. I got mine in a flood.... wired it to my high beam. they sell them in a spot/beam or flood.
What bars are you rocking?
+WRX_addict In this video they are the 12" Death Squad T-bars.I'm currently running some of Lucky Dave's - Lucky 13s
love the sound of this bike
+Twiggybush Thank you!
+MADMAX BOBBER haha
Thanks for the ride thanks for the quick fix still stuck in Williston North Dakota miss that ride gotta get home, can't keep living thru your throttle. Ride tight never break ranks
hahahaha nice man
Thank you! How's the weather out there? It's actually raining pretty good here today. I think I might edit some old footage I never got to...
damn... this bike is the shit! amazing place to ride too, I miss living in socal
+Keith Holman Thank you. I appreciate it. What part of socal did you live?
How do you have the camera mounted?
It's mounted onto the chin of the helmet on the front. Right under the vent. I like this position best. But that's just my opinion.
What's the exact bike your riding me man? Sounds great and good video.
+moparbrent760 I can't afford to do that, I wish I could man, if I want somthing eles the classic has to go.
+Ali Bayley Awesome! You ever consider getting a new one and keeping the old one too?
Yeah i bet man. I have a 1961 triumph bonneville, so much fun.
+Ali Bayley Thank you. I appreciate it. I love this bike so far. I wish it had a little more power though.
Apsolutly pure beef......its a motobike made out of jealously!
How are the t bars on your back?
@penzils94 The T-bars are 12 inches tall.
What kind of pipes are you running ? Vance and Hines or screaming Eagles ?
It's the Bassani Road Rage II
enjoyed the vid
@Cheeta0399 Thank you! I'm glad you did
Way cool vid man.. One day I'll roll up on my Fxr and say let's go eat !! Haha.. Hells is a good ride..Bike sounds real good dude..
@dur13 Sounds good to me! I wouldn't say no
Super cool video, bike sounds amazing!!!! Is this in Cali?
@joel barzinpour Thank you, I appreciate it. Yes, its in Southern California.
I've been ridding a long long time and if you want to experience the way that it feels behind the bars.. This video is the best of the best. The thunder, The curves. The open road. Solitude.... My mind set!
@soloseat Solo Thank you! I really appreciate it!
What size and brand are your bars, they look great and i like how you didnt have to change cables thanks!
@SuperMac The are the 12" Death Squad TbarsI didn't change any cables or any lines, that's exactly why I got them lol
What kind of pipes are those? definitely not stock. Sounds perfect
moparbrent760 bassani road rage II?
Yes, an Arlen Ness Big Sucker and a Vance&Hines FuelPak tuner. That's it. It's okay.. I may get a set of cams one day
@moparbrent760 anything else like intake or computer tune?
Thanks you. They are the Bassani Road Rage. A 2 into 1 pipe.
Thanks you. They are the Bassani Road Rage. A 2 into 1 pipe
Wow! What an awesome and fun video to watch, it really makes me want winter to be over right now. Great job and thanks for sharing it. Safe rides always and I think I will watch this 10 times a day until spring...lol Could you share the brand of external microphone you are using, the video sounded fantastic. Thx!
+Michael J Thanks man, The external mic is just a cheap generic one I got off ebay. nothing special
What gloves do you have?
They are Alpinestars. I'm not sure of the model. I got them as a gift a couple years ago.
Buy knew boots.
Why do you say that?
I'm ordering a Rifle Roadster fairing and there are 3 windshield tint levels. I like the one you have. It looks like med? (there's light, med and dark). Do you recall which one you have? Thanks.
I have the 15" touring shield. when I got my fairing there were only 2 options then... a clear and a smoke. I got the smoke.
Another SICK video!!!! LOVE THAT DYNA!!!! Hey, would you suggest a Sportster or a Dyna for a first bike? I do have some riding experience. Just got my license! Thanks brother! Ride safe!
Thank you! I appreciate it. I'd definitely get a Dyna as a first bike if I did it all over again
Summer needs to come back... haha
I won't complain about 40 degrees... especially seeing everyone else's snow. you can't really ride in that LOL
@moparbrent760 not when it's 40* outside haha
it's always "summer" in SoCal lol
What camera setup are you running? Audio is awesome
@Jarrod Jones yea, the mic is down the back...inside my shirt. the way the air goes around me, there is no wind noise.
Is the mic being down the back of your shirt what cancels out the wind?
I'm using a GoPro HERO 3 Black Edition with an external mic. I have the mic down the back of my shirt. about mid back....
@moparbrent760 Awesome. I have a 2014 FXDB Street Bob and the mini apes are cool, but drag bars or T Bars are what I am the most comfortable with. I was going to get the 10" because I didn't think I would have enough slack on the cables, but after what you told me I am going for the 12". Thanks for letting me know and keep the videos coming.
Awesome video. @moparbrent760 I had a quick question, did you have to change out your cables for those 12" DS T Bars? I think I want those over the WC T bars, but I'm a little hesitant if I have to change out the cables. And did you need a new poly bushing and washer set up? Thanks. And keep making these videos. Those back roads look awesome.
Thank you, I appreciate it!I didn't have to change anything out when I got these bars... I even have another 1 inch spacer under them and still have slack. I could have used a 2 inch spacer for a total of 14" rise. Yes, I got a set of polyurethane bushings from a local shop when I installed these bars.
How tall are you?
@julian lucas No man, I'm about 5'7
Did you ever get exact measurements on how tall you were?
no way.. none of the Harley models are really made for tall people specifically
You just made my day. I'm 5' 6" and thought dyna street bobs were only for tall people.
5'6 or 5'7
How tall are you exactly?
I'm about 5'6 or 5'7
Brent ,man I don't think I could ride that good ,hmmmm :)
You easily can! It just looks like I'm riding good on camera LOL
Great riding man
Thanks, I appreciate it
Hey Brent what's new . Man I have to make sure I stick to bikes. Man this SF cat got into it with me former Ranger. Over a joke .Hell I just want to talk and think nothing but bikes. Lol did my time you know bro. To old and to small these days ha ha ha ha ha
That's a crazy story. How long were you in for?
Yep 5'7 dam I messed around now all my settings are screwed up. Lol but I know your out there some where . Riding save
@moparbrent760 Does the fairing have any effect on the wind pulling you backwards? I mean, longer rides without some sort of protection is tiering I've heard.
The fairing doesn't help that much with wind. It helps a little, but not much. It doesn't get too tiring on long rides. What gets tiring is if you have an uncomfortable seat lol
hey man , love your street bob , can i ask did you modify the rear wide glide fender to fit the fxdb ?
It's actually a SuperGlide Custom fender. It just bolted into place. No modifications at all.
Is it a dyna super glide?
It's a Dyna Street Bob
What an outstanding ride, and what a beautiful place...Ride safe buddy.
Thank you! I love that road. No traffic lol
Great video and great sound!! Can't wait to get back to riding. And WTF? One thumbs down, always a hater somewhere..haha
@DefeKt Shotz I've heard of much taller people riding Dynas.
@moparbrent760 yeah man only thing is I'm 6ft and solid so unsure if I'm to big for it
@DefeKt Shotz Thanks man.. If I were you, I'd get a Dyna as my first bike. you wont regret one thing about it!
@moparbrent760 don't worry brother probably someone who can't afford such a nice bike, seen all your vids man your pushing me more towards a dyna for my first HD
Haha thanks! Yea, that's the usual person who dislikes my videos... It hadn't even been uploaded a whole minute before I got that dislike. Every single video is that way. I think I might know who it is.
Bike sounds great! are those 10" risers?
@Hawaiisidecar I'd love to do all that to my bike! Everything (suspension wise) is stock on my bike, literally the only thing I've done is adjust the rear shocks to the stiffest setting LOLone day...... one day.....
@moparbrent760 I like the Dyna's handling with tall risers and straight or drag bars. Done any suspension upgrades? I have Progressive springs and heavy oil in front and nice Progressive shocks on back. Makes a big difference. A fork brace is good for highways with the rough patches pavement.
Thanks! They are 12" Death Squad T-Bars
