The reason Titus was able to keep his weapon, despite protocol saying he should've been disarmed, was because the Inquisitor present doubted Leandros' accusation. Also, Leandros didn't follow the Codex when he reported Titus directly to the Inquisition, instead of reporting it the Chaplain first.

@Tyrant 1 im thinking that because in the 40k lore there is never any mention of a space marine blank and if he was one the ultramarines would pick it up during his initiation. Now perhaps he is like Guilliman in a sense, Guilliman just has an innate agility to fight off the corruption of the warp, now obviously being a primarch helps but i believe there are cases of other space marines with a strong resilience to the warp

But on the point of space marine 2 it’s being made by a company known for their PvE games. I think that this game will genuinely turn out good from what gameplay we’ve seen thus far. Sure it’s short, but it seams to keep to the same themes, and Core gameplay that is Space marine 2
Companies are finally getting the realization that any kind of fan just wants a proper sequel like dmc 5, spiderman nwh etc haha

@Star Hammer The Deathwing aren't a chapter, they're a company formation inside the Dark Angels and some of their other successor chapters.
The Deathwing and most first founding chapters and original chapters don't typically view the Emperor as a god with the exception of the Black Templars.

@Yosef Yonin to be fair, there's only 1000 of every chapter ever since the legions got split into chapters to avoid something like the Heresy happening again. Not all the chapters are codex compliant and follow the rules, but you know, it is what it is.

Since Warhammer has come to you like this, I recommend that you try to read books on this universe. Many of them are very good. Start with the Horus Heresy - the first 5 books of the cycle captured me entirely and I became a fan of this universe at one time. By the way, if you liked Warhammer 40,000, then maybe you 'll try to get acquainted with Warhammer fantasy battles ? As for me, it's better than 40k. But only the old fb - now it is called the old world. The new age of sigmar warhammer is boring ! To date, there are 3 Warhammer universes - they are practically unrelated. And if you are interested in fps warhammer shooter - pay attention to necromunda hired gun !

I legit have to agree with serban with the Horus Heresy start for novels to get into the universe being a slightly bad one for someone completely uninitiated in the lore. The lore primers/summaries like the templin institute videos he watched in the video, wiki pages and Emperor TTS of all things are good openers and from there so long as you have the basic understanding of what happened during the heresy and who each faction is you can literally go to any novel of choice. The first book in the Gaunt's Ghosts and Armageddon space marine novel were legitimately my first ever books I've read. Armageddon because its literally a rollercoaster ride of literally space marine on ork combat through and through to the end, Ghosts for being a boots on the ground story for probably one of my favorite guard regiments in the entire lore as well as one of the few novels that actually have sequel books and continuity. Alot of the individual novels in 40k are literally just one offs with engagements between factions spanning different years and distances apart with few ever getting sequel novels.
"Start with the Horus Heresy" is the worst advice. Period. Ciaphus Cain is a better start, for sure, since it actually gives a good sense of what 40k is, even though it is an absurdly long series. The world and universe of 40k vs 30k when the Heresy is set is immensely different, and while it's incredibly important, and almost critical to how 40k came to be in lore, it does little to explain what the state of 40k is. Honestly, my recommendation is the "If the Emperor had a TTS device" series, and the wiki, as well as videos and such. Get into the novels if you feel like you're ready to commit to them because there's no such thing as a "quick read" in Warhammer. Simply the fact that you lead with "the first 5 books of the cycle" is illustrative of how immense of a commitment one aspect of the lore is if you want to explore it in full.
I would honestly recommend Ciaphus Cain to start off

Such a fun game, though the waves of enemies in the final fight were brutal, especially since you aren't invincible during the execution/glory kill animations. Hope they change that in game 2.

Until they won the War in Heaven and imprisoned their gods as batteries when their gods started eating each other.

What I learned from this video: Even a single word can lead to a 40k lore dump so large it puts even 5th grade math books to shame.

Total War: Warhammer is both turn based with rts elements I think. It looks amazing, that is all I can really say (not a fan of playing those style games).
