I know it's hard to not think about what is going to happen if something went wrong, but try to enjoy your life and do what you love the most, if you can't just let time heal the wounds, you'll go back to your normal schedule sooner or later.

And don't ever think that time is stolen from you because you could have done a lot more.

There's people suffering much painful situations and they can still laugh and smile.

I've been depressed and tried to suicide many times in my life because I was too negative and I was focusing only on the negative part of my life.

I completely forgot that I am so much lucky that a lot of people, and suddenly (After therapy) I started to learn to "surf with the wave" when things go wrong and not swim against it.

I am still here, and I also have a lot of plans, but I'm not in a rush neither :)

    We're always here for you

Honestly I understand you. I'm considered young and I have trigeminal neuralgia...people get this when they're older. I live in constant pain. The pain does not go away but life happens. I am a fully functional member of society who happens to have pain. You are amazing and through the pain you will learn how strong you are. Much love positive vibes your way.

    ···From indirect experience, 2 words...
    *Proton Therapy*
Not sure if it's applicable to Simone's condition but my friend's wife/my friend, KT [short for Katie], had success with it after 2 other bouts of "regular" radiation. Unfortunatly the immunotherapy is f***ing with her liver (They aren't 100% sure but she reacts badly to it often times, and her liver enzyme tests are getting worse and worse). If anyone has any experience/advice concerning immunotherapy f***ing up a liver please let me know. She keeps getting passed along from "specialist" to "specialist" with no answers.
    Thank you!

Being from Sweden, why in all of tarnation are you even bothering with our shitty healthcare system here in the USA?? Unless being a “RU-clipr” has made you more fabulously wealthy than I realize? …or want to realize, or may be willing to accept?
You’d get equally great treatment, and for far far less money, back in Sweden.
And even if you are fabulously wealthy, then the USA is still not where you want to be. The country with the best cancer prognoses - whether you’re on the public system, like nearly everyone there, or for some reason pay for private insurance - is France!!
Move there, go through your money but get better, or get on the public health system and still get better, and receive fabulous inpatient and outpatient care at top-of-the-line facilities, and numerous in-home treatments that you absolutely CANNOT get in the USA, and subsidized cab fare to all of your appointments at doctors’ offices and hospitals, and one of the best doctor to patient ratios in the world, all the nurses and doctors and techs will know you by name … AND you can eat fabulous food and drink tremendous wine while you’re at it!
I mean, it’s your choice, but despite the dialogue-drowning chants of “U-S-A! U-S-A!” you’ll hear here, not just for cost where we rank downright poorly, but for quality of care and technology and doctor education and OUTCOMES we still only rank between around 9th and 13th every year on world studies, while France ranks consistently 1st. Just a thought, best wishes to you.

We're going through nearly identical issues at the same exact age. 6 cm meningioma rmoved in November 2017. A portion of it is still behind my right eye and in the sinus of my nose (the nose part is easy to deal with). They're going in to try and remove the part causing my eye to protrude a little bit. After that I will need radiation at some point. It sucks, but things could be a lot worse. /highfive

ANYONE, THIS COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE: There is a mountain climber who happened to develop a brain tumor. She went to a clinic to have modified herpes virus injected, which attacked the tumor successfully. She has been cancer free since. Worth a try, in any stage of cancer and regardless of what you've tried. If I had a brain tumor, I would do it - without hesitation. Because if you control virus by reprogramming them, they are an awesome tool. Don't take my word for it, don't believe me, just do your research, it's a real thing.

I hope you realize that you have altered peoples lives with the life you already lived. You SHOWED people that you CAN DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT. That alone is huge. But as huge as that is, you are SHOWING people that HOW you respond to what happens to you is ENTIRELY UP TO YOU! I have a meager following on LinkedIn, a few thousand. I was inspired by you as a bad as builder girl, but I am in awe of "Bad Ass Amazing Human Being Girl". You WILL come through this cognitively and sensorially(SP? Is this even a word?) whole. Though I am a "not so bad as builder", though I did build an elevator in my garage, I would have given anything to grow up with someone as cool as you. You may never eve read this with so many comments, but if you do, You continue to show me "life is what you make of it, daily". I will be a better person today because you reminded me I can be.

I recommend you look into the connection between diet and cancer. You will find that Americans consume 87 pounds of sugar per year and we have a 50% chance of getting cancer. We all need to cut our processed sugar because that’s one things cancer cells feed on.

my grandmother had reoccurring brain tumor, she said it was at the back of her head where she smacked her head as a young girl, I don't know if they were related... if the tumor was slow growing you could experiment with different treatments like those high dose vitamin C trials, I have read that they believe it's not as effective during Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy. so It might be worth a look.

Tumors use to grow extremely slow back in the 70's and 80's, even cancerous ones, and was almost never found in children or young adults, it was mainly an old peoples disease, that is until 1992 when cancer started going faster and is now in 1 out of 2 people. Also all neurological illnesses started going up and going faster as well. If you want to know the real cause for all this, check out this presentation ru-clip.com/video/O1aD5NpTLXY/video.html on the microbiome by Dr. Zach Bush which is triple board certified and was a researcher for chemotherapy. You'll never see another person that is sick the same way ever again.

This really fucking kicks me. My grandads just been diagnosed with a brain tumour. And he’s been given one month to live.
It makes you realise what you take for granted :(
    My grandads is cancerous
He had the same thing, a surgery to remove most of it. Some was left as it was so dangerous. But that little bit has given him a month to live.
What’s weirdest is he’s still as up and about as you are right now. He’s not ill like you’d imagine in a bed.
And that’s what twists with your mind.
Yesterday he started losing hair and that’s what’s hit him that’s reminded him it’s terminal.
I hope you get through this, you’re so young.
    Keep your friends close hunny,
Cause I know you’re gonna be just fine 😊

You have got this. I know how it feels to be sick of being sick as I have a long term illness. There are ups and downs, and the thing to remember is, celebrate the ups, and learn to lean on your safety net of loved ones when you are down. I find the latter one hard to do. My safety net people get upset about that, as it makes them feel impotent, but I hate to keep asking for help. Keep on kicking Brian's ass with some giant hobnail boots, Simone. I hope the treatment doesn't hit you too hard, but it wipes Brian out of your head, and if you are ever in need of a laugh to feel better, just give us a shout.
