I saw Rasmi Malek in HBO's The Pacific and he was AMAZING. I couldn't believe his star didn't rise immediately afterwards but, WOW, did he crush it in Bohemisn Rhapsody. Oddly enough Joe Mazzello also had starring role in The Pacific.

My dad had came to the US in the 80’s and the first band he had listened to was Queen and learned English off their songs because they were so catchy. I remember growing up to listening to Radio every morning lol and I would be begging my dad to play something else and he would look at me like I insulted his greatest love 😂.. oh but when he heard about the movie, all hell broke loose. He had his old band shirt and everything ready for the movie!

Rami Malek -- the soulmate I'll never have. He makes me wish I was a Hollywood actress, so maybe I would have had the opportunity to date him. He's handsome, kind, intelligent, humble, and charming, qualities that are very hard to come by in a single person. I really think we would have gotten along very well.

I may not be born yet when Queen was at their pinnacle of life, but damn. I watched Bohemian Rhapsody and it made me cry. Rami portrayed Freddie like their soul was one. I bet Freddie is soooo proud watching him perform. Much love to Brian May and Roger

I finally saw it.. I wasn't able to bring myself to see it because I loved Freddie and Queen and didn't want to be sad.. Have all their vinyls still in mint condition that I bought in my teens brand new. I would have liked to see a bit more of Jim's relationship with him but I do understand they wanted to end it on the ultimate high note of Wembley. I guess I was afraid of it going to deeply into the dark subject matter of his illness and that's why I avoided it, as I hate crying in movies. What do you know, I still cried. With all that said, I think the sadder bits would have overall been welcome in a biopic.. I look at this as a celebration of their wonderful music.. When they were doing Another one bites the dust, conceiving we will rock you etc, I was on my feet. I give it a 9/10.

Yes, Rami was excellent as Freddie Mercury. He well deserved the Oscar for his work and performance. It actually brought me to tears. However, it's a shame that the other gentlemen actors could not have all earned the respected Oscars. They performed with an excellence that can not be overlooked. Lee as Brian May was like going back in time. It was like he was cloned. Actually all the guys looked like clones. John Deacon, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and of course Freddie Mercury. These actors performed the movie of a lifetime and it was excellent. They all deserved an Oscar in my opinion. This was a movie of a lifetime and they killed it. What's crazy is they all get along like Queen did. They seem like they are a FAMILY like Freddie use to refer to the band. Again the acting was excellent and I'm sure Freddie was looking down from the other side and was proud of these men that showed the love, hard work, and dedication that was involved in the making 4 misfits(as Freddie called them) to becoming one of the most loved, iconic and best live band of all time. Live Aid amazing no other words to describe it. Just AMAZING. Thank you Queen for bringing this Fabulous Movie for you Fans. Thank you Freddie for a lifetime of making music for all of us to enjoy. What a wonderful human being.

Now she listens to Queen ALL the time and just about everyday I’ll be driving her to school and we’ll be singing some of their iconic songs at the top of our voices.

For the 2 hours of this movie Rami brought Freddie back to us. Outstanding performance. Amazing cast. It was wonderful to watch and sad to remember. For those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s its like going back, like being there again. Though part fact and fiction, this movie stays with you.

Since I’ve seen the film a couple of weeks ago on the plane I can’t stop thinking about it too like all the comments mentioned. I’ve always liked Queen most popular songs but have come to appreciate the writing quality and variety of their music. Now I’m listening to more of their songs that are really fantastic that I never knew about. A very unique and highly talented and intelligent band with a frontman you can’t ignore. One of the most outstanding things that I came away appreciating about Freddie is he was so deeply thoughtful, generous, kind, funny, and so multi-layered. He wasn’t really what we see on stage. He is a great entertainer but off stage quiet, shy, and such a sense of humor. Not just from watching the film but watching interviews and numerous film of him with his band mates who were like family and others. It does make me so sad to know how lonely he was and some of his songs reflect that. I tear up when I listen to them every time. Rami and the entire cast did a phenomenal job!

We ate the champions my friend and silk keep on fighting till the end we are the champions we are the champions there's no time for losers we are the champions of the world here is a question how many Gallalayos are there in the song can you amazing that being someone's name you just think about why someone would have that for a name and what the hell is wrong with the people that you live in the same house with does anyone remember when Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison he not only had the look but everything was done perfectly like he was him not everyone can pull that off but movies like this are so perfect showing you what the greatest bands are like how they started out before getting into music I've seen good documentaries about when and where if they were still here today I'm sure that band would be doing concerts I believe this might be possible there legacy will go on

If you're seeing Queen for a first time in this film or even mostly for the first time. Unless you are under 5 years old that is unacceptable. My dad had me hooked on Bohemian Rhapsody when I was 5 years old like all parents should. People need to appreciate what music used to be and understand the terrible direction mainstream music has taken in the last 20 or so years. This is all coming from a person who isn't even a millennial but a Gen Z. I will reiterate, if you are older than 5 or 10 and haven't listened to Queen at least somewhat extensively, you need to. You're missing out.
