Yes he is by far the best college quarterback right now. But people also have to realize the offense weapons he has around him he has some of the best receivers in the country right now. Lawrence already said he is not worried about any of that he is learning at Clemson he’s going to stay at Clemson until he gets drafted.

Get some meat on those bones so NFL linebackers won’t break him like a toothpick and he may be better than mediocre in the league. I realize it’s your job but settle down a little bit before you hype up these kids. I don’t think we have any idea about Trevor Lawrence yet.

Such an ignorant video, I guess throwing 50/50 balls to 6’5 Justyn Ross against Savion Smith makes you a goat. I might as well be the next goat of CFB. Man didn’t have to make one read all night, just waited for Ross to get open every play and threw it. Can you say most overrated player in college football?

There are these analyst thinking that trevor lawerence is ready for the NFL and I agree but college football is very important it gives them an education so if their career doesn't pan out the way they want it to they don't become homeless, as well as being a clemson fan he was great in the Natonal championship game but he's definitely has had stronger games. There over in my opinion I don't really think he himself wants to go to the NFL quite yet it's not about the money for him. He loves the game not the money and he wants to develop it at clemson and not go straight for the pros.

Until this year, a young man had to be 18 to be classified as a true freshman. If your are 19, it often means that your college career was set back a year, maybe, repeating a grade or attended prep school for a year. This would make a recruit a freshman, but not a true freshman. Only, a few started at QB at 18 years old.

Oh my God I have to laugh at these college football analysts and the way they appear to try to be the smartest people in the room. At one point this year Tua Tagovailoa what's going to be the greatest quarterback in football history and now because the Clemson quarterback had one good game against a top-level team and that team did more to shoot itself in the foot than I have ever seen that team do... blown coverages leading to wide open receivers and Clemson quarterback did get the ball too but to think that quarterback somehow show anyone he's going to change the sport of football is beyond ridiculous. Given a choice right now give me still Tua Tagovailoa any damn day of the week. I don't say that in any way Anti-Clemson because by far the Clemson Tigers are they second-team I respect more than any other team and of course being an Alabama fan put Alabama above any other team. Let's try to remember that Alabama lost by 28 points this year to Clemson while last year Alabama beat Clemson 24-6 and rather dominant fashion. I don't remember anyone last year at least any of these supposed expert analyst and use that term very loosely but I did not see any of them last year saying things like it appears Coach Dabo just hot woefully out coached , and then of course they made a reference to Nick Saban's age trying I guess to somehow say he couldn't coach anymore. When fuck all he did was just finish taking another team unbeaten and untied through an entire college football season and then if we believe these idiot announcers or analyst we are supposed to believe suddenly in the national championship game coach Nick Saban just couldn't coach anymore. How stupid is that? And it also in a way to me it takes something away from Clemsons victory because Suddenly It's like they are saying well Clemson great win but you were the team lucky enough to play them when feeble brained old Nick Saban just couldn't coach anymore and wow, he went downhill in three weeks Clemson, lucky for you. In reality what Clemson did is beat the college football team that has been the most dominant team the last decade and more dominant than any team in history and I say congratulations to them great win. And it's crazy to think Nick Saban just couldn't coach anymore because I'm rather sure he's not coaching quarterbacks to throw the ball behind the receiver when a defensive back is sitting on the short pass ready to step in front of the pass and take it to the house. He doesn't teach defensive backs to blow coverages and let receivers run straight past them deep. He doesn't teach an offensive left tackle who is projected to be a first-round draft choice in the NFL to get owned the entire game by defensive player that blew him up every play one after another and exposing our quarterback to run for his life. That should all be put down asTua threw a bad pass, defensive back blew a coverage and the clemson defensive lineman is a beast and owned our offensive lineman and I'm sure that defensive lineman is also a projected number one pick in the draft.
The only poor call Saban made was the fake field goal , but if anyone wants to be realistic about that the game was long over when he chose to call that and he was trying to call something nobody would expect and I mean really wouldn't expect that to try to do anything to put quit points on the board so I got no problem with that call. Remember the game he called the onside kick against Clemson? Can you imagine if Alabama had not recovered that? I guess once again back then Saban would have been over the hill right? But instead back then the Good Ol expert analyst call that one of the most brilliant calls in college football history. Anybody noticing these college football analysts seem to always have a way to come out sounding like experts because they're nothing but fucking Monday morning quarterbacks and pat yourself on the back acting like they discovered something. Well good luck to them when next year Alabama rolls through another season14-0, heads to the playoffs and get to the final game and Nick Saban wins his 7th national championship because that is way more likely to happen then believe suddenly Nick Saban can't coach anymore.
Just for argument's sake let's say maybe Nick Saban doesn't win any more national championships even though I think he has some left in him I screamed because he's still sharp minded and a healthy 68 years old but if he were not to win anymore titles I still find it more than disrespectful for any of these goddamn college football analysts who proved year after year after year they don't know a damn thing until after the game to play so for them to try to bury Nick Saban with all of his accomplishments before its time we scream to you from the state of Alabama fuck you goddamn analysts and most likely thank you for putting the fire back in Nick Saban's ass.
Finally I do have a great story for you analyst to research and put out there somewhere and that is why don't you do a story about Urban Meyer who quit on Florida and didn't recruit the last two years he was there so he could bury the University of Florida to make himself look better as if nobody could win there but him when in fact he left the cupboards bare on purpose. Next continue that story where he goes to Ohio State and wins one national championship , but the following year when he basically had the entire team back and should have coasted to back-to-back national titles he could not even get the Buckeyes to the fucking game. And every year since then he has every year been blown the hell out buy some under .500 football team whether its Iowa by 31, Purdue by how much 28 or something. The same Purdue team that an Auburn team from the Southeastern Conference beat 65 to 10 in a bowl game 56-0 at halftime, after scoring every time they got the ball in the first half and then called the dogs off at halftime or you could only assume they would have beaten Purdue 130-0, the same Purdue team that annihilated Ohio State. So where are all the stories about Urban Meyer can't coach anymore which does seem to be true and all he can do is cover up for one of his assistant coaches for beating the hell out of his wife. The cost of believe anything else you have to believe Urban Meyer never talks to his wife at all look how she knew so she couldn't mention it at dinner one night maybe in the last 2 years and sure everybody destroys thousands of text messages suddenly when the story breaks don't they. Man Urban Meyer lovingly known now as Honey Boo Boo of coaches gets angry at the University disciplined him with a three-game suspension when in fact it makes them look like idiots they didn't fire the bastard because he degrades any team he is associated with. If you want to dig real deep go see how he physically abused players at Florida. How he and it was known campus-wide if Urban Meyer needed you to play it didn't matter what your grades were, it did not matter if you were injured, it did not matter if you were in trouble with the law, you were fucking playing. And because the University was mean and gave him a three-game suspension Urban Meyer plays the oh my God my health is awful card again and retires bless his little fucking heart. what are you going to say in a year why you standing on the sidelines of the USC Trojans until it really is time to retire and he shits on that program.. tell you what had all the time Nick Saban had in Alabama everywhere he's been so Urban Meyer the most underachieving coach in college football history but way to go college football expert analysts. Perhaps it's a more shocking story for you to attack coach Nick Saban who is done nothing but make sure players graduate I've never cheated one bit and had firm discipline and considered the kids future over his status in the NFL and doing everything right sure attack him. Hopefully when he wins National Championship next year and one of you expert analyst call him wanting to do a story on him and how he still has it he tells you to suck his left nut and no thanks because guess what dipshits he won't have still got it because he never fucking lost it... last night Alabama was inside the 10-yard line three or four times and came away with zero points so take that 21 points and it's another Alabama Clemson Thriller but for the life of me I can't see where the Clemson quarterback overnight became the god of college football and NFL history maker so give me a break. To the Clemson Tiger fan congratulations on your national championship and I give you full congratulations for beating the most dominant team and last decade and most dominant team in college football history. you are Victory should not be watered down 1 bit Bally's dipshit expert analyst trying to claim Alabama just can't play football anymore. Hopefully to a lot of you that does have to sound stupid and I understand the joy of kicking dirt on Alabama after one game being down and I would do it too if I was not an Alabama fan. Hopefully you understand nothing could be further from the truth that these expert analyst are trying to be. Bunch of fucking Monday morning quarterbacks...
Again, Congratulations to the CLEMSON TIGERS and Coach William Christopher "Dabo" Swinney, 2019's National Champions and certainly no team or coach on the landscape we respect more. It is now 2-2 in our battle got dominance although I would say in the last decade Alabama still holds the title most dominant with five national championships in the last 10 years. Hopefully Clemson next year since I'm sure our schools will still be Head and Shoulders over the entire nation like our teams were this year so we see you next year in the rubber match game 5.....

+Matt Dunn I'm not denying his generational talent. These bias recruiters put him on par with justin fields. look at all the great successful quarterbacks, they were all overlooked in college, highschool etc. recruiting sites are BULL-SHIT. you keep overhyping him and he will end up being a bust just like rest of over hyped quarterbacks. you put him in this years draft, i dont care what analyst think he has not shown to better than any of the senior quarterbacks invited to the senior bowl. one of those guys will end up being a multi pro bowler.

    • Matt Dunn
      Matt Dunn 4 months ago

+OLPlatinumHero trevor lawrence is probably the highest rated qb coming out of high school ever. every single college wanted him and it's not as if he hasn't been on the radar, he had to beat out kelly bryant for the job which is difficult in itself because he brought clemson to the playoffs last year and i don't think any college coach is going to be 100% comfortable giving first team reps to a freshman. I agree that freshman qb hype trains are too much these days it was the same last year with Tua (even though he was ridiculously good this year) and without a doubt he wouldn't have the same success on any other ACC team because the ACC is full of garbage. He just won the national championship, of course he's not going to replicate that with a team like pittsburgh, they're not good enough. But he would and will 100% be a number 1 pick. He is a generational talent you're just blind to see it

+ScootMagoot46 He played 11 plays in that game. That was his second college football game in front of over 100,000 people. He's gonna tear Bama's ass up again next year. Go Tigers!

Lawrence looked like dog shit against Texas A&M. They had to pull him out.

Trevor Lawrence wouldn’t go if he could leave right now. His family has money. And they want him to get his degree. Trent D ran the elite 11 and told people all the things people are saying now. The Clemson fan base has known since spring camp, that he’s an amazing talent. But he’s not worried about the money right now.

Slow down nobody talked about him all year long and after one game where he plays well against an Alabama defense that wasn’t as dominant as years past and with the best roster in college football he’s all the sudden a future HOF QB.

"nobody talked about him all year long"

This is the exact opposite of the truth. Clemson's quarterback situation was one of the biggest stories in CFB last off season. Every analyst was talking about him and Kelly Bryant after Clemson's first four games saying "will Trevor take over NOW?" Everyone but you I guess knew the name Trevor Lawrence before the season started.

+Dennis Horne this guy had 30 tds vs 4 pics. Luck had 14 tds. Trevor is on another level then luck. Luck is over rated imo

Plenty of people were talking about him even when he was in high school. The masses, people like you who don't follow recruiting were the ones in the dark about Lawrence. People who follow recruiting knew Lawrence was as good as it gets.

+JordanDaGoat x No, fields was the number 1 dual threat, Lawrence was the number 1 pocket passer qb.

Ok slow down. This guy has an all star cast around him. He is in a system that favors his style. This kid is a great athlete but he is going to have a sophomore slump and I believe has had to much success to early. Let the kid develop before idiots like this guy crown them king just so he can hype his own radio program.

just because he was good his freshman year that means hes going to slump his sophomore year? what kind of fucking stupid logic is that?

i doubt he will but you never know. i do agree that it is too early though.

Sophomore slump? Kinda like he was suppose to have a freshman moment. Sure he has talent around him, but he was the #1 overall player in recruiting this past year so it’s also him being that good.

+HurricaneStarang hes also a man of the year nominee and is constantly giving to his community and serving/volunteering in the city of Dallas. He might not be the the best arm talent in the NFL but hes a damn good person who lost his mother to cancer and now is doing everything in his power to make her proud if she were still alive and i think its safe to say that she would be. But ya because he wouldn't kneel for the anthem hes just an awful person and should be ridiculed by the the morally superior people of the left for having the audacity to disagree with them on politics.
