Is there really need for so much extenders? I mean that if you have the NXR (as I have) you can mount the tape the position you have it now, and instead of bringing the camera all way in front of the chin, you may have it a little bit to the right. Is that possible, and what positives - negatives you think this deployment may have?

Really nice and helpful video! After viewing this, Ι did something similar for my non-GoPro action cam on my Shark RaceR Pro and it worked perfectly (just for video, i don't use mics). Already tested it on a 5000klm-road trip from Greece to Pyrenees with awesome results. Really handy while on the bike and it doesn't bother you at all. Also you don't feel its weight and my Apeman A60 with its waterproof housing is bigger than this in the video! Really easy to mount and dismount. (the tip with the M5 screws is brilliant). Thank you for sharing this Motonosity!

wow you have a really clean set up here. i think i just might be doing this same exact one! but i am COMPLETELY NEW to all of this so .. silly question, do you need to merge anything together - as far as the sena and gopro for them to work as one? or do they just have their own systems? you guys make it seem so easy but all the wiring and connecting ..gets so confusing for me -_-

    • Sethuna
      Sethuna Year ago

lina balina You have to have them connected, otherwise you'll have to post edit the results. Like when using an external mic, you merge its audio recordings with the cam's video recording, sync them and you have the end result. That's the general idea, idk about the Sena and GP setup particularly.

  • AiroRider
    AiroRider 2 years ago

I couldn't tell from the video, or maybe I missed it, but were you using a GoPro Hero +? I'm looking at getting a GoPro but the Hero 5 is so expensive and I need removable batteries so sessions won't work. Also, the Hero 4 isn't sold in South Africa anymore. Do you have any opinions on the Hero +? Like how much lower is its 1080p 60 than something like the Hero 4 or Session? (Talking quality here)
